Nintendo has recently added another free downloadable channel called "Let's Vote" or something to that effect where you can vote on daily polls and predict the results for fun. But an interesting feature about it is that you can submit your own poll questions that can be considered for votes. Too bad it takes a year and a half to input text. :P Are there any keyboards that actually work well with the Wii? I mean, I assume the USB ports are used for SOMETHING (and it's not for an external USB network adapter hooked up to an external cable modem, that's for sure. .... Or maybe it just hate mine.) ... I don't have much of a problem inputting text with the wii remote.. it's better than using a controller to do it, at least. If I used the opera browser a lot more, I'd probably be wishing for a keyboard too, though.
And I think it's better to go with rechargeable batteries than one of those 3rd party chargers. I've been using Duracell NiMH batteries.

Yeah, I have rechargables ready to put into the remote. I've been using the ones that came with it and they're almost depleted. Lasting 3 months through moderate usage isn't that bad, I think!
I wonder what other channels Nintendo will pump out? What about a music channel where we can download soundtracks?? :O (Yeah, it'll be like iTunes, I guess, but primarily with gaming music!)

I want a channel where they apologize for VC pricing/slow release of quality titles/none of the Wii titles I want to play next being available for a while!
Also, allow us button configuration for the classic controller, dammit! it's a fantastic controller, but forcing you to use B and A as B and A in emulation? Idiotic. NES games are not comfortable like that. We need to use Y and B like we did on SNES.
What's worse yet is they forced the N64 button mapping to the "proper" letters, while the B and A buttons on the N64's controller actually correspond with the Y and B positions.
Bottom line? It's lazy and needs to be fixed. That sums up a lot of how I feel about Nintendo's handling of Wii thus far.

I think that there are a lot of problems here and there that can easily be fixed with updates, but the system's only been out for 2 or 3 months... they're trying to perfect it, but at a slow pace. I think a lot of great games have been added to the VC, most of them are NOT crap (the crap was mostly the NES games like Urban Champion and Soccer). The only problem is that a lot of the great games are ones I already own, like Mario 64, all of the Zeldas (OOT and Zelda 2 will be on soon, sources tell). There are certain games I really want (Mischief Makers comes to mind at the moment), but I can see they're not having an easy time getting this stuff up. I'm just happy more obscure titles are getting noticed, so it may not be too long before I'm downloading Dynamite Headdy (Gunstar was one of it's very first games, after all). The pace at which games are getting up for download is way better than PS3 and 360, though. I like how they're trying to make sure emulation is perfect, and they even updated certain games with patches to make sure they do.
BTW, this coming Monday (for North America) it looks like we're most likely getting Streets of Rage, Donkey Kong Country, New Adventure Island, and Excite Bike.
I personally don't have the points for everything I want, nor the cash for another card! I really do wish the games were cheaper, above all else.

Donkey Kong Country + New Adventure Island = some of the best platformers ever. But they cannot compare to DKC 2&3! Hope they're coming too... By the way - Zelda 2 is already out. At least in Europe.

Theres a strong rumor that the project Kojima is working on for the Wii with the temporary name "Project S" has something to do with Snatcher and that Suda 51 (creator of Killer 7 and No More Heroes) is working with him on it. But no one here would care about that, right...? Read the last 2 questions here: wii.ign.com/articles/765/765721p2.html

I asked the same thing on page 1 I've got 600 points left and I know I really want a shooter, I just can't bring myself to choose between the two of those Soldier Blade is much easier, but both are great games. I'm on the fence about which one I like more, as they're different, but you can't go wrong with either. I still haven't gotten around to spending that remaining 600 points yet I've been stuck in a bit of a loop lately... ...odd that no one cared for that Snatcher for Wii rumor, cuz I remember a few people here talking about Snatcher before. Or was it just Girian?

I really need to finish that game sometime. That would be interesting if this "Project S" does pan out to be a Snatcher game.

I now have to say that I guarantee that Project 'S' is indeed something related to Snatcher. I just stumbled upon an old article that I had remembered reading way back: www.gamespot.com/news/6142849.htmlread the 2nd paragraph... Snatcher may not be is Suda 51's favorite game (that goes to Out of this World), but i'd have to guess that it's runner up. Also, many have always said that fans of Snatcher would love Suda's games. If this guy decides to work with Kojima for any reason, Snatcher is it. It just makes total sense, there's nothing else the 'S' in Project S could stand for... but I haven't even played snatcher, actually... I've only read about it throughly, and it's just not appealing to me. The closest Kojima's work has come to being awesome for me is ZOE. Suda 51's work doesn't seem like my kinda thing either. But it's awesome to me when an old, overlooked gem gets a "2nd chance", which is why I'm interested to see if this game really does turn out to be snatcher.

Nintendo PRs have been saying that they're working hard to fix shipment problems starting at the end of March, so hopefully anyone here who wants one soon and doesn't have one yet won't have much of a problem. At the moment, it's like every weekend is like a new launch day, from what I've been hearing. Whither they're #1 or not this generation, I'm just happy that Nintendo is back among the biggies. Here's some more pics of Project O as well. It really doesn't seem like my kind of game at all, but I have to say it looks like it's probably gonna be a big game (at least critically ). I'm personally most excited for Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario at the moment (the latter of which comes out in just 2 or 3 weeks), especially after watching the new trailers from last week. I remember that some people here had been wondering if Wii would ever have an external hard drive. There have actually been some strong rumors about one being in the works... it'd definitely be very helpful for Virtual Console enthusiasts, that's for sure (it'd definitely make me more enthusiastic about it).

Mario and Sonic, together in a game at lastUpdate. And it looks like it's also gonna be on DS. I know it might not be a huge deal to some people, but it's at least cool to see something once thought impossible: Sonic and Mario in a game together oh, and if anyone has been trying to get a Wii and has been having a rough time... it looks like supply will be increasing in April.

Awhile back my friend and I used to play a great deal of Super Famicom Dragon Ball Z games and we were looking forward to some of the newer gen 3-D versions as they became available. However, many of them were awful, awful games and with the release of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi for PS2, we finally found a game that got the Dragon Ball Z formula right.
I recently purchased Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for Wii and I have to say that it's been awhile since I've played a game this fun and indepth. There are so many things to do in the game to unlock characters, items and bonus content as well as alternate "what if" storylines between the characters and potentials for each character.
The game itself is fast paced, smooth and offers plenty of room for practice and growth as each of the characters have a variety of moves and special attacks they can do, many of them can fuse with other characters to make new ones and if I've read the box correctly, there are 120+ playable characters in the game which I believe is the most playable characters in a fighting game to date. You have the option to customize each of your characters abilities and stats with various power level parameters and special items that you find in the game and level up with experience points, making it an Action-RPG-Hybrid Fighting Game which well... really never gets boring for me since there is always something to work on.
I've haven't had a chance to play it two player yet but I'm betting it'll be a blast when I finally get the chance. Also, it's nice that you have the option to switch back to the classic Japanese voices if you aren't a fan of the Funimation character voices.

gonintendo.com/?p=22406Dewy's Adventure... how did I doubt you? This cute little game actually looks really fun. And I find it really funny how the guy in the video refers to the game as the cutest game ever, then starts dubbing Dewy's moves with violent names. "Dewy's Adventure is quite possibly the cutest game ever. Now here we see Dewy's spinning icicle blade of death..." Zack and Wiki is another game I doubted... but its turning out to be something I probably should check out or will end up missing out. Oh, and I heard that there's been some news on Project O... something about having a living, breathing world or something like that. It still hasn't caught my interest... but it's an 08 title so it's still got a lot of time.
