It's a PC game. And it was documented in many places. Look through the old posts if you want to see links. I'm not doing it.

Phuckballs! I meant Ys VI. And I might have confused that number with something else.

woah, now that makes more sense. Still, 5 million is quite a feat... if that's in Japan alone, then it actually beats out every DQ and FF game that's ever been released in Japan. It'd cause much more heads to turn than it has already. and I've been trying to search for proof in the boards but i can't find anything about sales of any Ys games. I can more easily believe it selling a million or two, but not 5... well, i did find this, but it's no help.

Or just get it on YJ. It's not exactly uncommon/expensive.

Hey, let's not get too excited. I'd like to see it sooner rather than later too, but... you know when Hagane got an ESRB rating? LAST NOVEMBER. Is it on VC yet? ...not so much.
Their 3 games a week system absolutely must stop. AND WE NEED A BUTTON CONFIG, DAMMIT.

There are some people who don't want to support VC no matter what. The prices are indeed high, I won't argue that because it can't be argued. However, with the exception of the filtering on TG16/PCE games (and Neo Geo which I can't confirm or deny), everything displays in its true resolution and looks fantastic on an SDTV. Supporting these releases encourages more to come, and it gets TG16 games into the homes of people who might never play them otherwise. And it got Sin & Punishment to me. So I'm okay with it. And it's pretty damn convenient, too. I like being able to turn a console on from bed, order a game to said console, play it, and then go back to bed. What I need, though, is a free button config. I hate playing two button games with "B" and "A" on the Classic Controller mapped to them. I'd much rather use Y and B. We established this was correct in Super Mario World, yet Nintendo can't get it right now. DS still gets it wrong when playing GBA games. Frustrating.

I have reason to believe we're getting a lot of sequels and rereleases to long forgotten games due to the VC. I mean, we're getting a brand new Star Soldier from Hudson because of it. And since Sin and Punishment was so highly downloaded, I think we'll see more releases like that, and that's very awesome.
And although this ESRB thing doesn't necessarily mean Ys is coming soon, it does mean it's definitely coming. One small step closer...
and I think NES, SNES, N64 and Genesis games are a bit more costly than they should be... but Turbo and Neo Geo games are a boon upon mankind. It'd also be nice to get more than 3 games a week, but I am actually surprised that 3 games a week managed to get out this many games in a year. It's more than I can handle, there's still some games I want to download that I haven't. It could use some more N64 and SNES games, though... but I'm happier that the focus seems to be on Turbo!

Neo Geo games are a boon upon mankind. I'm not sure if I'd say that about the first Fatal Fury, World Heroes and Art of Fighting games, but... hey! To each his own! Magician Lord and Blue's Journey are good, but come on... Magical Drop III! Garou! Late KOF games! Sigh. Yes, they got a lot of good games out considering how few games they released total, but a system like iTunes would be infinitely better for those of us who know what we want. They can still showcase 3 games per week! Just... stop screwing over those of us who know what they want. It's really irritating. I didn't want to wait for Super Metroid to hit VC a week after the first Metroid. I know I wanted SM. I knew that since last November, but hey, that's how their month of Metroid played out!

I just meant price-wise... not in terms of their quality and what price they deserve, but compared to having to buy the actual old carts I think it's great. I'd never download those games when I know their sequels will be better. Unfortunate for all those people who downloaded SFII instead of waiting for at least Turbo. And I know that KOF 94 is coming this month to Japanese VC... damn, it's going to take a while to get to 98

Hopefully they will have 4 and 5 translated on the wii cause I'm tired of games that are only sold to Japan and are finally translated like 10 years later. Remember playing FF3 and found out it was actually FF6 . Hopefully they will translate Fire emblem too, cause I love fire emblem.
