Durarara, episode 2 just aired a few days ago so I cant really say much about it. but I like it so far. I just watched ep.1 of Durarara last night and I think I'll give it 5 episodes to hold my attention. I have to resist making any immediate comparisons between it and FLCL because that's all I can think of right now Also I'm gonna check out Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei this weekend

Dulalala is basically supposed to be another Baccano... I think.

Still, it's hardly FLCL. I think you'll see if you've seen ep 2.

No you can't cause Hulu ain't "legal". Also, FUNi has rights to Baccano now.

I thought Hulu had to acquire the right to air everything they make available?

Maybe they do have some sort of deal with FUNi, not sure. Also, the Hulu version is a dub

Also, the dub is pretty damn good. I dig the fact they bothered to do some period/setting relevant accents, for one thing. Baccano! was good stuff. ...Now I'm going to get back to watching Kuroshitsuji. RIGHT NOW. XD

Used up my Barnes and Nobluh gift cards today to pick up a few mango. Namely Kieli and I grabbed a Geijutsuka Art Design Class upon a friend's recommendation. Kieli I picked up because; 1 - I like the art style. Cute, but still detailed sells me, big time. 2 - There's only two books. I LOVE buying manga, but IT'S SUCH AN EXPENSIVE HOBBY, I just can't afford to keep up with things anymore since I moved out. So, I liked grabbing something that I could finish without worrying about the next THIRTY FREAKING VOLUMES that I will miss. (Fuck you, Negima... I thought you would be of reasonable length like Love Hina. ;_; ) Anyone got any recommendations for short manga series? One-shots are also awesome, I love those. edit: oh and like, I read the first Kieli and absolutely loved it. I actually cried at a certain part of it... I don't think any manga has elicited that response from me before!

I've seen that one around! Duly noted. Oh and yeah, I like romantic comedy type things. I tend towards the scifi/fantasy and the romantic comedy type of stuff. Even minus the comedy works as long as it's not too dry! Still open to more suggestions, too!

Samurai Champloo's manga is great and only 2 volumes.
Or at least, I like it.

Finally getting around to watching Clannad: After Story. It's great so far, I'm hoping it'll top the first season, though that's not an easy thing to do.

I spent the whole day marathoning the show, and wow, you were right... Great show. It'll be a while before I watch anything this memorable and emotionally powerful again, I bet.

I want to watch After Story, but since it has been a while since I've watched the first series (and it is not getting any more recent) I feel like I'd be disconnected.

I watched the first season earlier this week to remedy that exact situation.
