Solution found!
The left plaque in the room tells you that the potion that drains your magic power has the ability to stop the resurrection of the undead. In other words, Put an M-Poison on a skeleton to make it stop reviving. The right plaque tells you that the path will open when all the undead bow to the ground.
Pretty simple, right? Kill all the skeletons walking around the middle section, the ones that dropped the keys. There are five of them in total, so that’s the amount of M-Poison you’ll need. You can buy some in the shop on F1. Drop it on them with the L-button, and you’ll be able to walk right through the warp circle. Massive thanks go to Mass_Carrier, who provided the translation of the plaques!

Gah, I can't believe you just cheated past it What does it mean exactly? That it's actually selling well, or just getting lots of clicks and is popular? Ys Seven being in that list is throwing me off. I really hope it's well received in Japan so that the rest gets remade too. I'm completely hooked on this series now and can't go back to the old style. The gradual turning, shortcuts and markable map make this a much more enjoyable experience.

Brandish is the number one action rpg on psp on amazon.co.jp and it's also the 4th best selling rpg on PSP. It also has great reviews as you can see. Falcom gave this information in their latest mail magazine. It looks like they're proud of it !

OMG Im sooooo pysched to hear that, hopefully this tells Falcom to bring it over stateside, and if not that then at least bring us the other 3 installments too, and who knows, maybe even a 5th one, use the Zwei system where you control both Dela for magic aspects and the Smexy Ares for pyshical attacks... OMG that is such a GOOD idea ^_^!!! PS... I was kinda of disapointed with how Dela Mode ended... spoiler warning.... ........................... she only travels the ruins up to 10 EX........................ then its all over T_T... and she only gets to fight ONE boss... lame... very lame... seems like they kinda rushed it after ruins EX 7.

I still luv this game to death, but if you have finished Dela mode, dont you think it was a tad rushed and tooo short. I mean it was great to see her get her own layout and what not, but only 10 levels, they couldve at least let her run thru the same levels after that Ares did? Or maybe I just want an excuse to play more Dela T_T

Has anyone who beat this noticed that the ending credits sequence is COMPLETELY in English?!? Well, their names are in romaji of course, but everything else is in English. Not a single kana or kanji in sight. Is this common of recent Falcom games? I don't know exactly why, but this really surprised me. Almost as if they figured "Well, when we work on the English version, this'll be out of the way!" Ironically the only typo is that Quality Assurance was spelled Asuarance

No, it's just as you described it, a counter. I guess hardcore players will want to rest as little as possible, since it does show up on the final screen along with your rating. You'll unlock Dela mode regardless.
BTW this was introduced in Brandish 3, so it was a nice touch to include it in TDR. However, I would have preferred L+R to rest instead of Select. It's too close to Start, which is the only way to pause during a fight (if you catch my drift)...

Casino's at the very end of the 2nd Dark Zone.
BTW you do know you can smash those rocks when you get 100% on a map for bonus items, right?

That sounds like what I missed... I don't really understand your directions, though, but I'll play around with it and see what I can do. Thanks! -Tom If you want to complete the ruins Basement 1, you have to go the right hand side hole on Ruins floor 1, there are 2 holes on that floor, the left one and the right one. What you have to do is go to the hole, like right in front of it so that if you take one step forward you will fall in. Then, jump, DO not walk into the hole, but JUMP, as soon as you do that, hold the triangle button till you reapper and have landed. PS. Considering how well this sold in japan, do you think Falcom will bring over numbers 2 and 3???

How playable is Dark Revenant if you don't know Japanese?
I was thinking about loading it up once I finish Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch.

Well, I played it a bit, and got stuck in the first level. xD I think I gotta explode some wall or something...
Anyway, it's quite playable. And you can also make use of FAQs 'n' guides, too.
... *ahem*, also, I can pretty safely say that I really wasn't "designed" to be a fan of the Brandish series, if you know what I mean. I can't like them much at all. After failing miserably tolike the first two games for SNES, I thought that maybe the PSP version would change my mind... it did, but not enough. =/ Sorry, Brandish fans. I won't be joining you.

About the animation/control stuff, I'm really glad they went this way. They finally added proper recovery time and animation to everything. This adds much more depth to Ares' combat and countering options. Even though the game is now a lot slower, this actually increased the tension. Especially when fighting monsters you'll notice the huge improvement over the random 1 frame attack counter enemies had in the SNES version. Even when countering at the right time they could still randomly retaliate and damage you. At least now you can see it coming and react. I think the "lag" mechanic works really well, it's a good thing that you have to find a moment of safety to use a potion instead of instantly recovering your health at the press of a button. Same for the turning, you've got to judge the situation and pick the right option. Will you walk backward and put the enemy in your line so that you don't have to turn the screen and score a hit to his side, or turn the screen to enter the standard block-and-slash game? The LOBSTER bossfight shows the strength of this system. When maneuvering in the small 3x4 arena surrounded by poison and pitfalls you've got to pick your moves carefully to avoid getting hammered from three sides, all while attempting to cause them damage without the help of spells. The old Brandish had stuff like this too, but it was all just so rough and half-working. I think the speed settings option caused this, some things worked well in certain settings, but there was no setting in which everything was perfect. Until now
