The 4th iteration of the seems-like-its-never-going-to-end Mega Man title finally hit Virtual Console today. Capcom was on a roll over the last 2 years pumping Mega Man stuff out on Wii, but the oddly stopped late last year. I thought MM4 would have been out before Christmas '09. Oh well, better late then never I suppose. BTW, has anyone tried Mega Man 10 out yet? I hear it is drastically easier that Mega Man 9. More info on Scatterbrain.

Yeah, I beat Mega Man 10 already. It's not much easier, in fact I found it harder. It depends on where your skills lie, I suppose. Do they lie in fighting enemies skillfully or being good at platforming and avoiding instant death traps? The former will definitely find MM10 easier, and the latter will find MM9 easier. If it wasn't obvious, I'm the latter.

Let's see... if every AC MM was on VC: - 1 $5 - 2 $5 - 3 $5 - 4 $5 - 5 $5 - 6 $5 - 7 $10 - 8 - The Power Battle $10 - The Power Fighters $10 Total: Over $60, possibly $70 even. 8 Probably won't happen unless it's the Saturn version. In the end: Mega Man Anniversary Collection is cheaper and a better all-around deal. Especially the PS2 version. // Megaman 10 is a lot easier and harder in some regards, as pointed out. I still haven't gotten past the Wily stages yet. I just got past the 8 robot masters again, before I had to call it a night. Megaman 9 has the harder levels, but Megaman 10 definitely has the harder bosses. I also have Bass (Frickin' awesome!!!) and Special Stage 1 (Damn you, Enker! I will beat you, one of these days!). The DLC is definitely worth it, and the Challenges definitely add a lot to the game this time around -- providing additional levels!

BTW, has anyone tried Mega Man 10 out yet? I hear it is drastically easier that Mega Man 9. I think I mentioned this in another thread, but I think it's easier to complete, but harder to no-hit clear. Overall I found it a fun play, but the stage graphics and music were lackluster. I snagged Bass mode and Special Stage 1 over the weekend. I haven't yet dove into Bass mode, but Special Stage 1 starts off as an homage to the first Gameboy Mega Man game and that is awesome Funny how I thought about picking up VC Mega Man 4 when I first saw the news, but then remembered that I own all the Japanese PSX rereleases of Mega Man 1-6 and the US release of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PS2... and the original carts for 1 & 2 but that's another story EDIT: Found my post Pretty much exactly as HJ put it, but with more words
