Way to break the combo we had going there, Wyrd. > Anyways... Me, personally? I'm excited as hell for the 3DS. While I'm not exactly keen on the whole 3D gimmick, I expect the system and its games to be amazing regardless. Also, did they explicitly state that every game has to take advantage of the 3D? I can imagine some, or even most of the games doing it, but how will every game do it? It doesn't seem possible.

But... how would you make Persona 3D?

Actually, the selling point of the system is the robust technology (which is so much more than flashy 3D effects) and incredible lineup of games. It's also backwards compatible, which means we can have proper analog control for our DS games at last (hopefully). Seriously, the lack of analog control was crippling for Super Mario 64 DS, but look at that analog... stick? on the 3DS. It blows the PSP nub away (of course I expect you to disagree with this for some godforsaken reason ).

The 3DS slide pad looks so fab. Like, real.
But yeah, Wyrd, having the pad below is just like 360, except actually a good dpad. So, awesome.

Oh, I thought you said, the slide pad shouldn't be one top.
But yeah, Sony disconnection dpad isn't my fave. I'd rather a Sega Japanese Saturn controller sorta thing, or Genesis.

When it comes to D-pads I've always preferred Sony's approach too.

I voted for Komaki's design as well. Definitely my favorite.

I liked the Kaji one with a Met hat.

My only beef with Kaji's design is that she looks way too similar to Mayl from the Battle Network games. I guess everything is better with Met hats, though.

I never played Battle Network much, so I wouldn't know, hahaha.

Making a quick update, apparently the Japanese Legends 3 blog posted a tally of the current top three for the heroine contest. I'm not certain if this is just counting the Japanese votes, or if it's combining the oversea votes, since different places are stating different things: www.themmnetwork.com/2010/10/20/legends-3-heroine-contest-reminder/If this is just the Japanese votes-only, then it's nearly identical to our own; just swap Sensei and Komaki's places, and have Yoshikawa's tied for third. Regardless, I can tell that the #1 and 2 are gonna be pretty darn close.

Why do people even bother. Capcom made up the characters, and the story already. This is basically referencing the other characters. You remember the Sonic Colors thing, where they asked people about who is who, and what could be released?

Considering how Inafune's been lately it's probably for the best Also Komaki's design won, Inafune's came dead last.

Why? Inafune might have created Megaman, but it's not like he single-handedly developed any of the games, especially not the newer ones. He's been going around saying western games are much better and that Japan needs to learn from them, so I'm actually glad to see him go before he pulls a series I like into the dark depths of westernization.

Well, I found out Komaki wins (who I voted for)... and then find out that Inafune left.
It's a really bizarre feeling. It's not totally unexpected because he's been talking about leaving for a while now, but I never expected it to happen during the middle of Legends 3, y'know... THE GAME HE'S BEEN TALKING ABOUT MAKING FOR 10 YEARS.
It's just... wow. I don't know what to make of it.

WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRR?!?!?!
Seriously. This is bogus. The Mega Man franchise is the only one by Capcom that I really give a damn about; not counting their takes on Zelda.
