Mouse controlling is always expected with that kind of game wyrdwad.
It's more a diablo like game than an a-rpg à la Ys or Gurumin !!
I also prefer playing Ysf/6 and Gurumin with a pad, I was more referring to the first two Ys (and also the fourth, even if it was made for console only !).

I have dow... BOUGHT the dvd version of this game a few time ago, and I already complete it whitout know anything about how to read the japanese (I only can understand about a 30~50% of speaked japanese, but I cant read anything).
I dont like the fact that this game doesnt have any voices or pictures when the characters are speaking, I only skiped all the dialogs in the game using right click. The game is really short, it takes me less than 12 hours to finish it... games like Gurumin are 100 times better than Xanadu Next.

Yes, you get that kind of item defeating the third big boss, before you can go to the last dungeon. If you are in the sewels you dont need it, but when you get the item (a kind of amulet to walk under the water for indefinite time), you can go back to the sewels and find a ring to absorve skill points when you defeat enemies

hi  i've beated this evilwurm fire boss and gained another crown but i dunno what to do now ? where i must go? i've also bought bow from this redhaired guy in town and what i can do with it ? ;p help |

when you defeat the fire boss you get an amulet to breath under the water, with it you can go back to sewels and get an optional ring to absorve SP when you kill enemies, afeter that you must go to the water in the city, and walk to change the map, follow the road, kill the weak boss, and after that use the bow and arrow to hit the eye, then, after the video go back to the statue located near to the first portal, and you`ll be in the long long last dungeon

That room is next to the end of last part of that map, near to the room where you get a summon card breaking a wall using the glove, near to the room with the last switch to raise a gate, and near to the part where you meet the female "ninja" that sell you items (tip: always buy at least the last item from her list).

ok, ive found it.. but i've pm'ed you with anotyher question i have problem with this weird force field, you know.. after using bow and arrow on big eye, what do i do with force field, how i can enter this gate/castle ?  |

From the city, move 2 maps in noth direction, and 2 maps in east direction, and you will be in the statue when you meet the female "ninja" for first time (one map next to the first portal), in this place you can teleport inside the castle.

haru, one more time i thank you for your guide the only annoying problem is $ in game, i must back to town to buy some keys and then, 'travel' one more time through all of the rooms to get to the closed doors hah |

In the last dungeon there are a lots of locked doors, for the keys you can use an item like a knife, that i think you can buy somewhere to the strange ninja (in the sewers I hope), with this item and the "white things" that you get everytime from the treasures, and are sold by 1... ¿rupees? well, the money used in the game, you can make a key spending a "white thing" (2 keys if is critical), this is very usefull. Anyway if you need to buy keys or something, is a good idea to use the guardian that looks like a golem, he gives you 2% discount by level, max is 20% Sorry for my bad english. i've just ended Xanadu Next  what a great and beautiful game and the final boss, he was huuge :Pno i'll go and play fantasia sango 2 |

What he said about the keys is that you can buy two different bone knife from Agnès, the girl you sometimes meet in the game. She first sell you a knife to make keys from the bones found by killing monsters (1 key per bone) and when you meet her at the end of the maze I did a map for she sells you a better knife (2 keys per bone). You can buy bones from her. You can also sell the bones to the item seller to reduce the price of the bones in case you need a lot of keys, the price will quickly fall back to 20gold and increase again once you start to buy a few keys.
