In fact it seems your only choice IS to order the limited edition because the normal edition is not available anymore from their site !

No doubt it's a good game, but finally I will probably don't play with Xanadu Next and just keep it for my collection because I don't like this game like Ys or others "fantasy" game from Falcom. I've finished the last Ys and soon TLHO 6 Chapter 2 will be available and actually play with other games on PC (Pro Evolution Soccer 5) or with friend's machine (Mario Party 7)....

I'm stuck in the first dungeon... There's a room with four doors (one being the exit). Two of the other doors are stairs to different floors, and the fourth is a door blocked by portcullis. How do I open that door? There are two strange things in the middle of the room. I'm supposed to do something with them, but I don't know what. I got stuck here in the N-Gage version as well, but I remember that it was fairly simple. He he. I just forgot WHAT I was going to do!

You need to use a fire spell on the "two strange things" and the door`ll open, like in Zelda xD

Ooh, now I can play the game with a controller. My PS2 converter will be able to work now! *.*
Thanks again, Gillian Seed. Very nice.

I have been playing this game for eleven hours now. I'm almost finished. This game is simply amazing. It outdoes Ys by a long shot. The game's almost perfect. Easily Falcom's best title yet.
And the music (I'm looking at you, gamemusicfreak) is simply outstanding. This might just be the best game soundtrack I have ever heard! Every single song is in-cre-di-ble!
BUY THIS GAME IMMEDIATELY!!

I'm on it! I just gotta finish Shadow of the Colossus first. I'm tired of juggling games. Now I really want to play it!

I used the patch and though there seems to be a controller setup in the config, I couldn't use it in the game

Your skill points will become unused in case you want to change your stats.

It's a very useful option in fact.

thanx! Ok, but if I "Level-down" my Hero, then I have to earn the experience again.... And until I level-up, I miss the possibility to use some weapons & armors... ok, ok, my english if awful...sorry...but I hope that you have understood

Indeed. But as Seldane said, you can then level up again and distribute the skill points in a better way than you did before (to be able to equip something for example).

So, at the advice of you folks, I'm thinking about importing Xanadu Next. I was wondering if this is fairly easy to understand and finish without an ounce of understanding of Japanese?
I really would like to play more action RPG's; and since they don't seem to want to bring them over here, I might as well just by them straight from the source. I know that if Seldane says that it's better than Ys (though I don't think that I could ever make that claim), but I just want to be sure.
Peace Out Jest
