Dare I ask... Floofy, how much did shipping for the Arseille come to?

That's not too bad at all, I would have thought it was going to be around that price just for the Arseille itself... *is tempted*
What's that lovely Schera/Olivier picture on top of the stack of books (and why don't I have one!)?

OMG SkyeWelse, is that a Xanadu... lunchbox? That's the coolest thing I've ever seen!! -Tom Hehe, it's not a lunchbox, but rather a plaque-type object that you would display on a wall. It looks like it is made of solid metal, but that disguises the light plastic very well. : ) Same item was featured here. Not sure if it talks more about it. I'd be interested in know its history: adventym.com/xanadu/scans/xanadu_file/xanadu_fan.jpgBut... If you thought that was cool. Wait until you see this! adventym.com/xanadu/tabletop/-Thomas

Snagged the PC-98 version of Sorcerian, I'll post pics when it arrives
Which version of Ys I is technically older, PC-88 or MSX2?

Aah, okay. I've read information saying that the MSX2 version was older, or that they were released simultaneously, but I guess that was wrong.
How impossible is it to find the PC88 versions of Ys I and Dragon Slayer? Those are at the top of my most wanted list right now.

Here's the complete set of Ys Figure Collection vol.2 hereI didn't take pictures of the extra Black Pearls (1 comes with each Goddess figure) nor the extra equipment display stands that come with the metal figures. The extra equipment is in the hands of the white and golden armor Adols I don't even know what all is in a complete set of Ys Figure Collection vol.1. I've seen some figures have pearled variants, some have metal variants, and have never seen a full set yet

And I repeat (even though no one cares~~):
I still think those Ys figurines are ugly but I guess it comes with the price. :\

I can tell you that I really don't like those old school anime faces. They kind of look like those faces drawn by anyone that's ever tried to imitate anime and manga style for the first time. :P Feena's pose is kind of weird too with her left hand in an obviously uncomfortable position. Well, I guess she's super flexible or something.

I still think those Ys figurines are ugly but I guess it comes with the price. :\ I agree. The collection 2 figs are much worse than collection 1. Collection 1 was great, imo On the other hand, when you want figures of an obscure series, beggars can't be choosers. Like with my Scrapped Princess figures or my friend trying to find anyone from Xenosaga other than KOS-MOS or T-elos

Because all I've otherwise seen are some very bad looking Shions and one MOMO. ....How nice it would be if a chaos figma got made along with that KOS-MOS~~~ *wishful thinking* (And how offtopic here am I?! X'D) On topic! I feel I can FINALLY match up to ye guys' Ys collections a wee bit! ...Sort of. Kind of. :'D Most are just books that one harassed poor Gillian Seed to sell to one.

But seriously, most of the Xenosaga guys just aren't cool enough. Granted that's just my opinion, and I can see people wanting a Ziggy, but aside from Jin and the Testaments (who are awesome) I don't find the dudes too impressive. And, no disrespect to Jesus, but Chaos' tastes in clothes kinda ruin him aesthetically for most people.

Yeah, Albedo would be good in both Testament and pre-Testament (odd theological exegesis, that) models. And I completely forgot about Margulis! [strikes head repeatedly] I personally wouldn't care 'bout Junior, and I was totally joking about Allen (you're weird Wyrd, Weyrd). BUT, Wilhelm would be kinda cool. You could have your very own Demiurge on display! (Jin still ranks top, though!)

Except he's better at getting his ass kicked and then saved by the woman he should be protecting. I'm better represented by Jin (I also get grief about studying a martial art which is completely useless in modern times--till the zombies come). And Wilhelm actually has some of my behavioral mannerisms/thought patterns (not to mention taste in music).
Allen just needs to "man-up" if he ever wants my respect. And the fact he hits puberty at the end doesn't quite qualify.

I'm actually a bit surprised ANYBODY would think that way. I mean, empathizing with the pathetic loser with good intentions is understandable (I was even like that when I was little), but such characters usually undergo more character development, and Allen's (EXTREME)whinyness pushes it into annoyance for me.
I guess some people just have a higher whine tolerance. . .
