I had a dream that I actually watched some anime series and thus had a reason to post in the currently watching topic.
In the dream, the anime was good, so that means it was definitely a dream <_<

I use to dream with animes I like, but I didn´t have a dream with Ys yet. I barely remember an Adol image in an underground sewer empty of monsters, but I don´t remember more.
Anyway, yesterday I dreamt with NiGHTS and Reala(from NiGHTS Journey of Dreams by Sega). They were fighting, but I felt I could fly, too. They were like in a market, or something. This is a little weird to me, because I didn´t play that game since a year ago.
Normally, I´ve got weird dreams, and usually I woke up with a rare feeling.

So I was watching TV and there was an interview with this guy, I didn't catch his name, but he was talking about the new Bones. He said it sucked, that it reminds him of his days of cocaine withdrawal. I wasn't just watching the program, I was watching this guy, he couldn't articulate well. He couldn't articulate well, yet he was on TV. Then I realized "OMG, that's me." -- unable to articulate well under the watchful presence of "the eye". Then I realized, he's not stopping. He won't shut up. He's not choking, he's not freezing. He keeps going, because he wants to finish. He wants to complete the interview. He won't stop until he's said everything he needs to say. You don't need to be confident. You don't need to be out there, or extroverted. You just need to let it pour out, even if you have to force it out. Then I wake up, and realize, it was just a dream. It was just a dream, but I feel reborn, refreshed and anew. Like I've learned something valuable. Like I've woken up for the first time in months. Like "this is what being conscious feels like". So I want to be that guy, and I'm going to be that guy. No, I'm not going to suffer from cocaine withdrawals to get there, but I'm going to let it pour out, and in any interviews I will be having at any point in my life, I will be ready, and I will let it pour out like there's no tomorrow. Live, and keep living, because you never know what tomorrow brings.

I just woke up from a very interesting dream.
In it, Tom was making a game (funnily enough named Bones), a Metroidvania-style platformer about a Koopa-like creature who wakes up in an overgrown castle with a mark on his head, no recollection of his past, and a strange craving for bones. He sets out to search the castle for clues about his predicament, meeting a friendly red-haired lady along the way who agrees to help him. It had very beautiful pixel art but was a little buggy with missing sprites. I remember it had a fishing minigame that Red Hairdo said had unrealistic physics but was really fun. I was at school preparing to graduate and I was writing a letter to Tom saying that I'm very proud of him but I'm depressed that he found a pixel artist before me. I could tell it was a dream because I could actually draw in it, as I drew a bunch of characters on the letter.
This dream was bizarrely pertinent to recent events. I had recently asked if XSEED were willing to enter the indie business, and I've been searching for a pixel artist as well.

I'd like to contact her, but she hasn't logged in for a while and I don't know her email. If you do know her email, mind dropping me a PM?

Oh wow, I had a ton of the craziest dreams I've ever had in my life when I quit smoking of these pills called Champix or something? I used them to quit on two occasions in my life (no going back this time... last time I used this excuse to to get back on because something really shitty happened in my life. But I shouldn't of started again that time + I was a fool to think I could somewhat control it). Almost every time I got up when I remembered a dream, the words "Man that was F'ed up" always came up. No joke. I just talked to my neighbor about it since I just found out she's quitting using the same pills and she said that those exact same words come up after she wakes up from her dreams too, lol. So yeah, you want some of the most messed up dreams you'll ever have in you entire life, try them Champix pills to quit smoking.

My dreams are like movies sometimes, very interesting and bizarre.
For instance, there was this hawk that could retrieve evidence, it dived down and snatched a bottle of empty whiskey, dropped it in front of me, then buried itself into the snow like a mole and disappeared.
I jumped into a lake covered in snow, landing on bed springs. I used to bed springs as a floating device to swim across the lake.
Interesting/Entertaining

I have very vivid dreams, along with a very vivid imagination. I like to read up on what dreams could mean (dream interperation).
My most re-occuring dream involves Xenomorphs. They can be my pets, my attackers or my defenders. It all depends on what kind of dream it is.
Lately however, my dreams have mostly been sad. Always involving being left alone, losing my loved one, or something bad happening.
The three dreams I've had lately involves; - One dream where there were one father buffalo that were blue and wanted me to do something for his daughter. His daughter were a red buffalo wearing a matador cape and hat while chasing me on it's hind legs. The cape were red also. - Another dream involved me beating the crap out of a kid who had done nothing but caused a bunch of mischief through out the dream. If I look at dream interpertation, seeing kids in your dreams signifies your younger self. So I can only guess that I was beating the crap out of me. - The third dream involved my loved one asking me what to do today upon me replying that I had no idea and returning the question only to get the answer "I'm gonna ask what my boyfriend wants to do", that hurted a lot to hear even though it was but a dream. I have many bad experiances with relationships.
Next time I have a more vivid and / or weird dream, I'll make sure I'll post it here.

Okay, as promised. Here is the dream I had this night. A Dream I enjoyed quite a lot.
It all started with one simple fact; I was dead. I had died somehow. This remains a riddle but I can only assume that my body finally caved in just because. So I were dead but confident in that my family would be fine. So I had decided to focus on the one that truely matters to me, my loved one. My loved one could sense my prescence, so I could prevent her from being sad. Or too sad at least since I could be around her always. With time, she learned she could see, hear and talk to me, and as such I could be easier be a Guardian of sorts to her from beyond life. I could ensure safe homecoming and prevent potential fatal outcomes. Like there was some driver who nearly ran her over at one part. Eventually in the dream, I learned I could possess people if I chose to do so. Which I did I but twice in the dream. I woke up at the end of the dream ( much to my dismay), thinking about existensionalism, if this form I had at the present time could be destroyed or killed or the dreaded " move on" as you see in many ghost-ish movies.
Now, if we look up certain keywords on dreammoods.com . . . Ghost To see your own ghost in your dream symbolizes aspects of yourself that you fear. This may involve a painful memory, guilt, or some repressed thoughts. Or you may be afraid of death and dying. Alternatively, ghosts are representative of something that is no longer obtainable or within reach. It indicates that you are feeling disconnected from life and society. Try to figure out what the ghosts wants or what it is looking for. The dream may also be a calling for you to move on and abandon your outdated modes of thinking and behavior.
Spirits To see or talk to spirits in your dream signify your fears about death. The spirits may be trying to guide you through some waking issues or problems. Pay close attention to what the spirits are trying to convey. Alternatively, the dream may be a pun on your enthusiasm and uplifted spirit for some matter or occasion.
Protect To dream that you are protecting someone or something suggests that you are putting up an emotional wall or barrier between you and others around you. Consider who or what you are protecting for clues as to what aspect of your own self you are afraid of letting out and letting others know.
. . . And we find out that this is one of the times where dream moods absolutely fail in interperting your dream. I weren't particulary fond of it's interpertation of my dream of bears ( have an lethal fear of them) but at least that was a bit comforting, here it just gets everything wrong. It happens. But here you go. My dream of tonight.

I had an interesting dream last night.
I dreamnt I came to this abandoned house sitting at the edge of a lake on a bright sunny day, so I decided to break in and search for valuable items. I found a red crowbar laying around outside which I used to tear down the boarded door. You would not believe what I found inside, old Nintendo games, vintage classics. Of course, I stole them but I was caught by two kids playing near the house, they came in and I told them to leave. The kids left the house, but I could still hear them playing outside. I can't remember what happened after that, I think I woke up.

So I had an eerie lucid type dream this morning. I woke up on my bed but I felt half asleep, so I turned the lamp on but it didn't light the room. Lights not working in my dream are an indication that I'm dreaming so I was convinced for the moment that I was awake, but still wondering why the lamp was on yet it wasn't lighting the room. I got out of bed and went into the living room where I seen my cat on the couch, I went to go try pick him up and he freaked out, started attacking me and ran away, I could see him peeking at me around the woodstove, so I slowly grabbed my winter boots and went outside. It was cloudy outside and I was still wondering if I was in a dream becuase I didn't feel quite right. I just convinced myself that I was awake, just overly tired why I wasn't feeling normal. I woke up shortly after that and said to myself "It was a dream...". The strange thing was that I usually get my cat in the mornings when I wake up, only this time my cat was hiding under the bed, I thought he was just sleeping but he appeared disturbed. I picked him up and he had big eyes, I let him go and he went under the bed again acting like he was scared So I was left wondering if my dream had anything to do with it.

There are strong beliefs that cats are attuned to the supernatural. Perhaps you projected yourself and he didn't know what to make of it. You could've been sleep walking and scared him. I've never projected myself, to my knowledge. I could never get past the phase where you can feel your whole body "hum" before going under. I don't know if there is a way to bypass the phase, there isn't one that I've heard of.

I know I wasn't sleep walking because I was outside when I woke up on my bed and I figured I would have had cat scratches on me also.
I remember long time ago when I was dreaming, I was talking to my dad and before I woke up I heard this loud sound like static electricity, maybe similar to the hum your referring to.

The best I can describe it, my body vibrates to the hum, which isn't unlike a cicada with a lowpass filter. The hum gets louder and then steadies, along with the vibrations. If you've ever had laughing gas, it's very similar to that.
// The trick is not being caught off-guard by it, and you can't be distracted by anything else either. You need to be completely silent, with your mind empty, and let it happen. Maintain breathing with your stomach without thinking about it. The hum is a very surprising occurrence, for me at least, so it can be difficult to proceed beyond that phase. This is just my experience with it, however. It may be easier, and less surprising for others. There may be fewer steps, or the hum itself may not be as potent. I would expect that it would be difficult for most people, since it is your soul separating from your body. I wouldn't try it again intentionally, however; knowing what lurks out there, I wouldn't want to leave my body as a susceptible host for something else.

I don't really know anything about what you're describing, it sounds like you practiced/attempted astral projection. The only thing I know on the subject is a shaman/healer I met last year who was able to enter a trance, separating his spirit from his body allowing entry into the dream world. From my understanding, a shaman is able to enter a sick persons dreams/soul and see what's going on spiritually with that person and attempt to heal him/her. They also have guides they work with to ensure no malevolent beings disrupt the healing process. The concept of the movies "Inception" and "Insidious" is very real, but that's a completely different world we'll experience once our time expires in this one. In the meantime, I think I'll enjoy this life since I'm almost certain the afterlife doesn't have Ys games or pizza

This dream happened while I was away due to a failed OS Drive and me too busy playing Skyrim to bother to even get on the case to replacing it, lol. K, so I know that in any moment Arnold S. as the Terminator from the first movie is gonna go to my mom's house and shot her. I need to get there ASAP and tell her to get out of there. Simple enough, right? WRONG!! I get there np, tell her to get out of there, she does, and now it's my turn. Can you guess what happens now? It's something that happens to others too as my brother said this happens a lot to him in dreams too. K, here is what happens. It's time for me to get my butt out of there, except I'm slow as molasses! I'm trying my hardest to move as fast as I can my my legs are barely taking me anywhere and the Terminator is due here any minute. THE HORROR! Well, in my hurry, only managed to get across the street, and I can see the Terminator pulling around the corner taking the long way around the other side of my moms house to get there. At this point I'm literally crawling on my knees in my hurry to move faster (yes, I'm this slow, lol) making it past some very low bushes with barely any leaves on them to cover me on the neighbors front lawn across the street. I'm pretty close to the house and behind this lame ass cover on the ground still trying to hurry my ass faster and maybe past the house eventually and totally out of sight when... I see the Terminator from Terminator 1 coming up up in the distance in front of my moms house. I'm like does he see me? Did he spot me? Oh shit, looks like he did as he's walking right my way?! He pulls out his gun once he's 7 feet away, stops, and shots me square in the head like I'm some Sarah Conner, my vision goes black, and I wake up.
