Gamer's Realm has a thread about the last game you saw, so why not movies over here? Share the movie and your impressions/recommendations. Okay, here I go then. I just saw Donnie Darko for the first time (a little behind the times, I know). Wow, ohhhhh, wow. Kinda made my head hurt, but in a good way (unlike Syriana). I was just blown away. And at the end, when the song "Mad World" plays, it was just so powerful. It's a "must see."

House of Flying Daggers. I bought the DVD, and really like the fantasy Kung-fu stuff a lot. I loved this movie. Fantastic visuals, and characters, with a lot of great twists.

Last movie I saw in the theater was Casino Royale, which is now my favorite Bond movie since Goldeneye.
Last movies I watched at home were Hostel and High Tension.
Hostel was interesting, a little too much soft-core porn for my taste, and a bit too unrealistic, but a good thrill nonetheless. I really like the contrast between the first half of the movie and the second.
High Tension is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. It is a smart French horror movie/slasher flick. A lot of people hate the ending, but I enjoyed it. The kill scenes feature a fair amount of gore.

I agree with Wyrdwad. I couldn't stand Donnie Darko. It was boring and depressing - I was on the verge of falling asleep during the whole movie, and I think I finally did, because I don't remember seeing the ending.
Either way, I can't remember which movie I last saw. It may have been Nacho-whatever (don't remember nor care what the title was) featuring Jack Black. That was - without doubt - the worst movie I have ever seen. It was mind numbingly boring through the entire thing. Disgusting! DO NOT WATCH that movie - ever!

Well, The last movie I saw was Fearless, it was good. The martial arts and visual was awesome. The moral story was good too. It's about a man who changed his life, that's a good movie.

I recently saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest again. It's not the best movie, and it's a wee bit too long, but it's such a fun movie that I honestly don't mind. May can't come soon enough.

He sure is. I'm a huge Adam Sandler fan. Well, I was anyway. All the Adam Sandler movies since Mr. Deeds have sucked. Especially Spanglish. Ugh.

Ahhh, Game of Death. One of the two Lee movies I haven't seen, next to Fist of Fury (aka The Chinese Connection). Dunno, I think I'll leave it for the end. Because it isn't entirely Bruce Lee, etc, etc.

Finished watching Serenity last night. After recently being exposed to Firefly, I just had to watch the sequel movie (of course). Great movie - intense action scenes, some very sad moments, and it still featured the characters I loved from the series. It makes me so sad to think that we'll probably never see any more movies/seasons from the franchise, but I still have hope.

Last Hollywood movie in theaters... The Prestige. It opened back in November but I didn't get a chance to see it until early this month. The director of Batman Begins totally lived up to my expectations again. It's definitely my favorite Hollywood film of 2006 (only 2nd to an Indian film I saw at the begging of 2006).

Rob-B-Hood/Project BB. It's the newest Jackie Chan film. It's so goofy yet so wrong. All the things that happen to the baby ... >_>;;;;;;

Snakes on a Plane, again. Saw it in theaters, had a great time, bought it on DVD. I still really like it, it's hilarious.

Recently watched Wallace and Grommit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit with Del Stimpson. It pleased me on an elemental level, as I am a Wallace and Grommit fan, and because I love claymation in general.
