I'm a huge movie buff and I can tell you right now, Scary Movie 5 was nothing to get your hopes up for. The series lost momentum since the wayans brothers left the franchise after the 2nd installment, and it's all been downhill from there.

I liked them all except the last one, of course the first two movies are the best movies of the series but you can't say the 3rd and 4th are bad, at least not as bad as the last one.

3rd & 4th were OK. I guess I just had high expectations for them since the director behind Airplane! was involved in the project, an Airplane is one of my favorite comedy movies.

Dual watching (back to back run, no intermission): The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey Extended Edition, and Howl's Moving Castle.

Saw the new Godzilla last week, it was really cool! Hope there is more to come. Just saw the new X-Men, loved it! It was a different kind of movie from what I was expecting, but I was really satisfied with the result.

Watched 3 movies during long plane flights on my vacation. Korean Air had a great selection of new movies.
Captain America - The Winter Soldier (Ended up watching it 3 times!) Snowpiercer - One of the best Science Fiction movie I've ever seen. I really want to see it again, it's so dark and the sets are amazing, it's really unique and original. It has an Ys Origin feeling to it. Divergent - Never read the books, but I loved the movie. I think there are a lot of positive messages in it.

Hm... Hayo Miyazaki's "The Wind Rises". It was part of my job to help showcase it, and I must say... I greatly enjoyed it.

Turbo Kid.
Was amazed how great an omage to 80s films it is. Even the camera shots. Some over the top stuff but it's not Kung Fury or trying to be. Feels a little but Mad Max and Cherry 2000.

The Boy and the Beast, by Mamoru Hosoda. As usual, it's a very pretty movie that sucked me in for 2 hours but I was a bit disappointed by the story. First two thirds are very nice (even if it's a bit too rushed) but the last part felt kinda out of place and unnecessary, something straight out of a battle shounen. Still had a great time and I can't wait for his next movie. :-D
