Just came back from Thor. I figured I would enjoy it, but, it was even better then I guessed, it was really good! I'd say better then either of the Ironman movies personally.

I saw it at the midnight release here in Ottawa, it was totally awesome! And I really like the first Ironman (it is the amazing soundtrack).

I watched Remember Me yesterday, a romance/drama starring Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin. It was one of the few movies that touched me on an emotional level, I really felt for what the main character was going through up until the very end. The ending of the movie caught me off guard, which dealt with the death of the main character Tyler (Robert Pattinson) during the 9/11 terrorist attack. Tyler was in his dads office in the World Trade Center building when the plane hit, which resulted in his death at the end of the movie.

I'd say the last movie I saw was Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I'd like to see Thor, but I don't have the money to go see movies all the time, soooo..... -_-

I'm considering seeing the movie just for that. Nevermind I now know the ending. But no hard feelings. (spoiler button is above your emoticons to the far right, marked "Hide")

I'm considering seeing the movie just for that. I didn't even know that was her until the credits, she looks different from what I remember in earlier movies. Good thing I didn't mention the part about Godzilla, that would have completely ruined the movie for everyone

I actually found the Godzilla comment amusing. You're not a troll. . . err. . . Troll. (Well I've just discredited myself via contradiction) But I think it's easier for people to interpret you as being intentionally rude if you actually meant to spoil a movie and then make jokes instead of apologies. Personally, I don't think you meant anything by it. But I may be wrong. After all, you DID change your name!

Saw both Raging Bull and Taxi Driver this week. Not impressed. In large part, undoubtedly, because I expect a great deal from Scorsese. They weren't Age of Innocence or anything, but both films felt fairly aimless to me. No conflict makes for no tension, which makes for a slow movie.
I have changed my opinion of Deniro though. I've always complained that he's overrated, seeing he only really has one character. Taxi Driver proved this assessment wrong, and was a drastic departure from the typecast norm he's embraced and settled into since.

Not too many movie fans here I watched Red Riding Hood, nothing special... actually found it boring in a lot of parts. It would have been more interesting if Pamela Anderson was cast as Red Riding Hood. It looked pretty good visually though, that's about it.

I was given a copy of that movie in 2008. I know it would be an incredibly interesting movie to analyse, especially back when I was aiming to graduate as a psychologist. However, I could never bring myself to watch it. Because I'm sure I'll hate it.

After.Life Excelent movie! Very thought provoking, suspenseful, and it kept me guessing throughout. And despite big name stars (Liam Neeson, Christina Ricci) it wasn't all "Hollywood".

I watched Caroline the second times yesterday,I admire the film mostly because it is good to look at. Selick is as unconventional in his imagery as Gaiman is in his writing, and this is a movie for people who know and care about drawing, caricature, grotesquerie and the far shores of storytelling. In short, you might care little about a fantasy, little indeed about this story, and still admire the artistry of it all, including an insidious score by Bruno Coulais, which doesn't pound at us like many horror scores, but gets under our psychic fingernails.

I could probably post in this thread everyday since I'm a movie fanatic, but I might as well be Spam if I did that One movie I regret not watching earlier is How to Train Your Dragon. I didn't think it would be my type of movie but boy was I wrong, definitely one of my favorite animated movies I've seen in awhile. Must watch for those who haven't seen it. I'm awaiting The Deathly Hollow Part 2 I hope Voldemort defeats Harry Potter.

So am I! I'm so nervous, I've been speculating everything; from Draco's demeanor (seems like he really doesn't want to be on Voldemort's side), to Snape's actions (maybe he just did what he HAD to, and is just being sneaky). I believe, and hope that it's all just a part of some twisted plan by the good guys! I was really sad when Dumbledore and Dobbie died. There have been more and more deaths lately, and I can only suspect that it'll get worse from here on out. I suppose we'll have to wait for the movie before our Riddle can be answered. I can't wait to see it with my love!!!
