I watched the season 2 opener of The Walking Dead last night. It was really cool.

The ending blew me away! and Carl too! I LITERALLY cannot wait for the next episode. Considering inducing a coma to quicken the wait. . . But then I might miss it.

I even had a zombie dream after watching it. I took out a female zombie by slamming her head into a wall and and it made three giant dents.

The Big Bang. Strange movie. Detective noir with all kinds of nerdy references (like Snoop Dogg's character, Puss, who filmed porn in a warehouse called "Schrodinger's"). Sometimes it was a bit on the strange side, but overall a good movie. Especially with the nerdy references! Most notable is the fact that it featured the hottest sex scene of any movie ever (for nerds): --obviously, not safe for work, children, etc. You need the volume on to hear what she's saying-- www.metacafe.com/watch/5813382/autumn_reeser_in_cinema_nerdiest_sex_scene_ever_sexymoment_info/

Tintin. As I expected, awesome. They changed some things, and added other comics like "Le crabe aux pinces d'or"(I don´t know it´s English title). I´m a fan of Tintin since I was a little girl(more than that),and I really enjoyed it. The ones I missed was Abdalah(the son of the Emir),and monsieur Oliveira da Figueira.

Watched the Ben 10/Generator Rex - Heroes United crossover movie last night on Cartoon Network. I'm only a casual viewer of both shows, but this was an awesome movie.

I completely agree with this statement. I believe the one you are referring to is The Crab with the Golden claws. I think the changes were good mostly because, well lets be honest, as good as the comics are, just using The Secret of The Unicorn wouldn't have been enough for a movie, or at least that's what I think. Though... Calculus needs to be in the next one! Lol Its obvious which movie I just saw.

Definitely my favorite movie of 2011. One of the few movies that brought tears to my eyes.

Warrior looks good. I'll definitely have to recommend it to my brother-in-law (he does cage fighting).
And I saw This Film is Not Yet Rated My thoughts can best be summed up as such:
The best part was where it revealed the names of those sitting on the appeals board, giving the public a clear look at the bureaucratic hypocrisy of a ratings system controlled by those with a vested financial interest in the product. It's really a chilling look at just how much power the conglomerates (the top film industries are owned by umbrella corporations. . . no, not the zombie kind) have even over something seemingly so innocent and ostensibly irrelevant as movie ratings, ultimately controlling public media therewith.
Also, I watched Crazy As Hell. The title fits. A celebrity psychiatrist does an experimental documentary in an asylum, and winds up treating a patient who claims to be the devil (whether this is delusion or reality is left pleasantly ambiguous for most of the film). While trying to cure another patient, who is supposedly uncurable, and grapple with his own personal issues, his own sanity comes more and more into question. It was strange, but also quite good. Took a bit to get into, but I really enjoyed it once it picked up. And the ambiguous (anti-Hollywood) ending really makes you think. Also, the main character's personality was freakily similar to mine (he quoted me like four times!), so the whole "battle with the devil" and some of the existential themes piled high onto the fact that I love psychological thrillers by default.

30 Minutes or Less. Great comedy about a pizza delivery guy who gets a bomb strapped to his chest and is ordered to rob a bank.
Evidently it got mixed ratings, but I don't know how anybody could dislike it. The situational comedy and some of the hysterical dialogue, given by ordinary people forced into an extreme situation, made me laugh out loud while still caring about what was going to happen.

Kind of reminds me of the actual guy who had a bomb strapped to him and was forced to hold up a bank, then died when the bomb took his head off. Supposedly the police were never able to find out who was behind the whole thing. It's really crass for someone to make a comedy that basically follows the same idea, then claim ignorance about the real world event it was immitating. Also, it's depressing to see Aziz doing all this by-the-book comedy after being so brilliant in Human Giant.

I rewatched several movies and saw two more for the first time recently.
Rewatched: The One, The Transporter, The Transporter 2, Total Recall First time: Transporter 3, The Expendables
I love the first two Transporter movies, and while I still liked the third a lot, I felt it was a little weak after the crazy awesome second installment. I still look forward to the TV series this year. I hope it's better than the Blade series. :x
The Expendables had some memorable moments, but I felt that its all-star cast actually took away from the film instead of adding to it. Nobody got much focus so it ended up being fairly boring. Still, I laughed my ass off at the scene with Hale near the end.
I plan on watching more movies the next few weeks since I don't have anything to play... besides WoW, but that's another story.

Pokémon 8: Lucario, and the Mistery of Mew. Better than I imagined at first. Lucario is cool.

I just finished watching Kiss of the Dragon.
I hadn't really heard much at all about it, even as far as Jet Li movies go, but I decided to give it a shot since Luc Besson and Cory Yuen worked on it. It exceeded my expectations.
I've heard a few people say that it has fantastic pacing and flow, and I'd have to agree. The story is fairly cliche (with a few exceptions), but the way it's presented and the acting from everyone all-around made up for any shortcomings of the plot. I could easily tell that Li had a lot of pride in his labor of love, as it features probably his best acting in a Hollywood film and some truly stunning fight scenes. Definitely recommended for martial arts drama fans.
Also, I watched Equilibrium a few nights ago. Unlike the other movie I watched, it has very poor pacing, but the sheer intensity and grace of the fighting scenes pretty much made it worth watching for me. I can clearly see why it's considered a cult classic.
That's not to say I disliked the story, though; just how it was presented. Again, the opposite of KotD.
I definitely don't regret watching these two action flicks. Both are great for their own reasons, but of course, your mileage may vary, as they're very different.

I don't know why I wasted my time watching The Last Airbender. The fighting and choreography was just... too slow. I felt like I could *walk* through some of these scenes unscathed. There really wasn't any sense of urgency. The name pronunciations were irritating, and the acting was just pitiful. I really liked the scenery, and the CGI. The story -- and several scenes within felt quite rushed. I understand that condensing so much into an hour and a half is difficult... but then again, could it have been *THAT* difficult? The final scene for the movie felt like the biggest waste of time. Sure it *looked* cool, but did it seriously have to take as long as summoning Eden in FFVIII?
I wasn't expecting this to be another Lord of the Rings affair, either. The movie ended the same way -- "to be continued..."
// I have to add as well that the final scene had as much of an impact on me as say... a giant rubber duck gently floating toward New York, threatening to clobber the Statue of Liberty. Gently. Like, it'd take 3 days for it to just barely *tap* the statue. Hell, even that would be more epic.

I watched Dark City last night before going to bed.
I... it's... just... wow. Easily one of the best movies I've ever seen. I'm not even sure how to describe it--it's so unique. Best way I can put it, imagine The Matrix with all the action cut out, the philosophy amped up to 11, and set in a very unsettling 40s-esque city with a murder mystery.
I can't even begin to give it justice, you'd just have to see it yourself.
