This movie slipped under my radar somehow. I found it very enjoyable, something different.
I wouldn't recomment it if you don't like love stories.

I just watch this yesterday and I was disappointed to find it was a to be continued deal, I thought the whole story would be told in one movie. I read the book back when I was in high school so it was cool seeing the book-to-movie adaptation, it just sucked knowing what was going to happen

I'm actually glad I waited until I found out that it was just part one. I'll just wait until they're done with the whole set.

The Hobbit.
The new 3d hfr or whatever it was.
The movie itself, I'd say it was quite a lot better than LOTR movies. Making three films out of Hobbit seems a bit too much, but we will see. I believe two would have been just fine. But if Jackson had made just one, I doubt I would have liked it.

I'm actually glad I waited until I found out that it was just part one. I'll just wait until they're done with the whole set. I don't think I could ever do that, I'm too much of a movie buff I was wondering if The Hobbit was going to be split into three parts because it didn't seem like half the book was covered in the movie. It's going to be quite the wait until the movie is complete. I watched Skyfall last night. It was some good old school James Bond action, very enjoyable. Much better than the Pierce Brosnan movies in my opinion.

Can you imagine if Ys were released in that way? Dogi goes up to the mountains -- end part 1. Adol gets on a boat -- end part 2. Adol defeats Galbalan -- end part 3.
I know some games DO take this approach, like Tales of Monkey Island -- but that doesn't make the approach any less irritating.
I did really like Tales of Monkey Island, and I do like the LotR movies, but episodic releases just feel like demos more than anything.
Maybe I'm just impatient.

Can you imagine if Ys movie would be made like:
Adol gets on boat, Adol meets Sarah, Adol beats Fact and flies to Darm and beats him too, Adol and Dogi get on boat, Adol beats Galbalan, Adol gets on boat, Adol meets Dogi and they beat Ernst and Ark
The end. All in a nice 1h 30min.

Under those restrictions, all I can think of is a glorified Ys rendition of FFVII: Advent Children. With so much action, the story itself would be pretty vacant.
// Granted, that would still make for a pretty entertaining movie.
In b4 still a better love story than Twilight.

I recently watched the documentary "His Name is Bob."
It's fantastic, I recommend watching it if you get a chance. They've been showing it sporadically on the Documentary Channel.

Watched Diary of the Dead. I really liked it, except the ending, which was horrible if you ask me.

Man of Steel. I love this movie so much! It is exactly everything I hoped it would be. It just rules. Period.

Evil Dead Remake. Enjoyable movie overall. There were some moments in the film where it captured that Evil Dead feel from the original, but other than that, it still felt like your modern day Hollywood horror flick. There was a scene in the movie where voice overs from the original were used, which I thought was cool. I would probably score the movie an 8/10.

Just came back from Lone Ranger, loved it! I'll just post my post from the PCEngineFX boards:
So, we decided to ignore the critics & hate on The Lone Ranger, & just got out from seeing it. From the get-go I could tell that it was a good movie, & all thruout I enjoyed it! I'm not saying it's perfect, or that everybody would love it, as tastes differ, but, man, I'm flabbergasted as to how so many people can rip that movie apart! I would like to see it again, & I'd love for it to be a series, but with how poorly it's doing, I don't see any way that'll happen, unless dvd sales go thru the roof! I think it's even doing poorly internationally as well.
It's surprising how people will just listen to critics, & not judge for themselves. I know we don't all have money to go see every movie that comes out, but you'd atleast think that all the Johnny Depp fans would come out of the woodworks to watch it for him alone. We all thought the actors did a great job, it has some 'Pirates' feel to it, which is fine with me, as I enjoy the Pirates movies as well.
So, in conclusion, if anyone reads this, & goes out to see the movie, & hates it....I'll deny I ever said it was great! Very Happy Seriously though, see a matinee if you want, we really enjoyed it!

Saw "The Wolverine" last night. Really loved it! I wasn't expecting something epic like Man of Steel. This is just an awesome Wolverine movie. Great story and characters.

Watched "Avenging Force" on Youtube. Classic 80's Michael Dudikoff action at it's finest! It was awesome.

"Curse Of Chucky" and "Scary Movie 5", I didn't like Chucky's movie and "Scary Movie 5" wasn't as good as the previous movies of the series.
