(Formerly known as "Things that make you mad! >:0") I hope a sharing anger thread is all right. So! List some things that annoy you, frustrate you, make you want to tie someone up and force them to watch poorly dubbed movies, be like Dogi and plow a few walls down, etc. - Tailgaters!
- Stupid customers that whine and bitch about interest that they so deserve to be charged on their financing account cuz they were stupid enough not to read the terms of agreement with the finance company. (I have many things to write about these monsters but I'll keep it to one example.)
- People that don't hold doors for those right behind them. Similarily, people that don't say "thank you" when you hold the door for them.
- Really cold/hot weather.
- Driving on ice/driving in snow.
- Mobs of jaywalkers (re: high school students usually) and people that take a year and a half to walk across the road WHEN THE LIGHT IS RED.
- Cyclists that take up AN ENTIRE LANE. (I'm not talking about folks on motorcycles or scooters - I'm talking about the ones on BICYCLES. And it's only 1 or 2 on bicycles.)
- People that don't know when to hang up the phone -- i.e., the phone will be ringing at the other end over 10 rings.
- People that ask "Hello?" more than 2 times before hanging up the phone. (No one is at the other end and even if there was, the person will call back if he or she needed/wanted to. >_>)
- Being on the distribution list at work and getting a billion e-mails a day that do not concern our district. I don't know how to filter ones that don't show complete To: and CC: addresses.
- Poor voice acting and acting in general.
- Neighbour's dog that won't shut up when I'm trying to sleep.
- Akira Toriyama.
- Barenaked Ladies
- Condescending people, closed-minded people, people who believe they know everything.
- The fact that encyclopedias and lots of other "important" literature out there use unnecessarily large words.
~~ random gap so the list won't be as intimidating ~~ - Ugly Websites, Websites with incredibly vague and cryptic navigation, sites with really TINY navigation (I think I've mostly seen these on JP art sites in their galleries >_> -- you know, the ones with 100 little squares or asteriks), sites with way too much crap on one page.
- Arguments on name pronunication -- or better yet, folks that only regard one pronunication as the true way of saying it.
- Traffic lights that turn red when there are no pedestrians or cars that could have triggered it.
Whee. ^^ ........ Guess I'll make a separate post the next time I add. :P

oh yay- anger thread! - Bosses who decide to give their sons/daughters a day off of work and instead call in sick/hurt employees to take their place.
- Favortism of any kind in the workplace.
- Shoplifters, thieves in general on the net when it comes to personal works.
- People who are common sensed challenged and don't know that items come in various box sizes- the price that applies to one DOES NOT apply to a larger box.
- Anyone who automatically presumes respect to them is something that must be given, not earned.
- Parents who spoil/refuse to punish their kids and then wonder why they can't control them and no one wants to deal with them.
- Random sales of your ISP to another company with no forewarning and lots of 'net trouble.
- Idiots, fools and morons in general.
...Looking back up at that? ...It's no wonder I don't get along with 90% of the human race. =P

People who ignore the fact that the walk signal is on when I'm trying to cross a street. Lazy managers and coworkers. I've seen things you wouldn't believe, trust me on this. People who commit robbery, and all criminals and rapists. Especially child molesters. I've been in a situation where a bastard held a gun to my back, not fun.

I was actually going to make a "personal horror stories" thread and tell the story, and see if anyone else has been in some serious shite before.
If you've heard of the Brian Nichols courthouse shoootings in Atlanta, I got lucky there as well. I was at the same courthouse on Jury Duty the day before it happened.

I agree with the customs. I bought a SNES from Ebay and it arrived today. I had to pay that crap too. Also: they moved the post office so I had to walk really far, in the horrible snow storm. But finally! New SNES! WHAT THE HELL?! IT DOESN'T WORK!!! THIS makes me very angry!

Wow, and to think... just last week I was thinking of making a thread like this. I didn't wanna sound like a gripe monger though. ^^; Oh well. Here goes. - Tailgaters
- People who don't grasp the concept of what a TURN SIGNAL is used for. Or the fact that one exists, for that matter.
- Lazy, inconsiderate middle/high school brats who think it's perfectly okay to plod along through a crosswalk when people need to turn so they can get out of the intersection.
- People who ask questions about items covered in previously given (in writing) instructions.
- People who ask said questions BEFORE READING said instructions. When they're told to read before asking.
- People who fail at common courtesies such as "please" or "thank you"... yes, even if they're family.
- People who stand WAY TOO CLOSE behind me in line at the store. It seriously creeps me out. Stay out of my personal bubble, dammit! ;_;
Dear me, I'm sure there's more. But that's enough RAWRing for now.

- Anyone who automatically presumes respect to them is something that must be given, not earned.
- Parents who spoil/refuse to punish their kids and then wonder why they can't control them and no one wants to deal with them.
- People who push their religion on others.
- People who neglect/mistreat animals in any way, shape or form. Yes, that includes you, mr neighbour, leaving your dog out in the cold all night.
- Customs. I've paid enough shipping costs already, leave me alone.
- The water board randomly appearing, breaking a water pipe in the street and proceeding to fence off everyone's gates to fix it so I have to climb the wall to get out of my own house.
- The UK's train service and its pre-recorded full-of-lies apologies. You couldn't give a damn about causing inconvenience, it's no accident when the same train is cancelled three weeks running when every other one that day is unaffected, and isn't that the exact same 'apology' recording you used last week, put together with little voice samples so the intonation isn't consistent?
- Noisy students, right in the middle of exam season. Well generally, but especially in exam season. You can't work because they're being noisy and techno music is pounding down your walls, and you can't sleep because they're doing it then too. Why do I have to go to the library at 7 in the evening just to study?
- The hordes of people who bung random Japanese words like KAAAWAAAIIIIII in their English sentences and think it's cool. No, it isn't. It makes me want to shoot you. Same goes for fansubbers who leave shit in their subs too, there are plenty of English equivalents for bento. And no one knows what the hell a baito is.
- Random spoilers.
And more I can't think of off the top of my head. Aw hell, let's just go for this one:

I'll only state the usual suspects...
-closed minded people -people who can be nothing but constantly silly/immature -badly controlling, unforgivably hard games -Himesh Reshamiya -other bad music -sheep (not the animal) -when I waste my time on something that was obviously created for the sole reason of turning a huge profit (frequent in Indian media... art doesn't exist there) -people who try too hard to look "cool" -when people believe stereotypes -cliches -modern warfare (and how the western game industry is so obsessed with it) -annoying main characters (Tidus from FFX comes to mind) -fanaticism that is around the equivalent of a teenage girl fainting at a boyband concert... or bad cosplay (which is practically all cosplay)

Ahh... - Not being able to sleep.
- Posting incessantly on messageboards because I can't sleep!
- Having a broken radiator in sub-freezing weather!
- How difficult it is to find a 24 hour convenience store in Boston.
And to all those who mentioned disliking tailgaters... this is one of the perks of not having access to a car at your main residence. Granted, there aren't many of said perks, but I swear my blood pressure drops like a rock whenever I don't have to drive on the highway to get around. As for the drivers in Boston, though, I feel for them. New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, I can do that. Those cities make some sense. We have nothing resembling a grid, our roads go all over the damn place, and we have no jaywalking laws. You can seriously step out into traffic any time you please and not die. Needless to say, when I got back to Philly, I sure was surprised.

You keep adding to your list! Not that that's bad or anything. ^o^ I should extend mine. Mwahaha. But Tidus isn't annoying. :(((( Wow. I think it being really early in the morning right now isn't helping matters but I can't think of any annoying FF main characters off the top of my head. Well, of recent memory, I know Vaan annoyed me in the way that he was JUST THERE in FFXII; the guy was out of place, IMO. I can see how the story was about him for the first few hours but gradually, it became Ashe's, Balthier's, and Basch's story. >_> Everyone else was simply filler/took the back seat. And I agree about the bad cosplay. Seen too much of those online (through A Fan's View) AND in real life at anime cons. X___X

I know this should be in the music thread but since it'll most likely induce rants and general rage, I figure this place is more appropriate!
What exactly is wrong with Creed? ^^; I think I've only heard 1 or 2 of their songs and I like one of them.
And I know folks make fun of Coldplay and Nickelback as well but I think those groups are only annoying in the sense that they're overplayed on the radio. X_X
Now Barenaked Ladies, on the other hand ...

What exactly is wrong with Creed? ^^; I think I've only heard 1 or 2 of their songs and I like one of them. Creed's music was pretty much garbage, and I blame Scott Stapp for a lot of that. Uninspired music, bad vocals, irritating religious themes, and... well, the man's personality soured me on him long after the music already made the initial offense, but here's a fun example of the kind of guy he is: www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/12/01/ap/entertainment/mainD8E7OI2O1.shtmlYou can also read a number of other excellent stories about him making a fool of himself all over the place! You know, we were going to try to go to that bar last Otakon so we could be where it all went down, but it never happened. Not that we needed even MORE booze than we already had.

Hmm. As far as that story goes, it seems to end up in Scott Stapps favor. Though, I do agree he is an ass. His mock Jesus poses piss me off. There was the thing about him and Kidd Rock being in a homevideo'd sex video together with a bunch of girls. The tape was in Stapps possession and it got stolen or he gave it out or some nonsense. here's a link www.breitbart.com/news/2006/03/02/D8G3NHNG0.htmlWhat exactly is wrong with Creed? ^^; I think I've only heard 1 or 2 of their songs and I like one of them.
