Companies should keep some sort of lexicon (dunno if that's the term I want) for game series so that translations of recurring terms are consistent! >:(
We should have none of this silly chooc, wark, kwee, and kweh stuff!
I'm surprised moogles haven't said hoohoo! or anything yet. (The hoohoo is me trying to remember the sound effect they have when they "speak".)

Well, "kweh" is phonetically closest to the original Japanese onomatopoeia... not that that means much. Japanese onomatopoeia generally requires a bit of stretching one's imagination to work. For instance, the sound for a cat purring is "guuuuu, guuuuu." ^o^ I like that! Guuing cats! ^-^~ But I wonder where wark came from? >_>

But I wonder where wark came from? >_> I remember laughing about it with my friends when FF7 came out. Ah, to be young and stupid again! Or... just young again. I recall them saying "cooc" or something similar in the US "FF2" version of FF4, which is definitely better, but not much, I guess. I liked the cute noise they made in FF6 (which I don't believe was ever written out on screen), and if I had to write out the sound they made in FF7, it would probably be "wooheehoo!" also: guu cats forever

I can't believe I didn't mention it the first time: Catchy music... especially the really bad kind my brother's whistling/humming/singing crap all the time... just now he was whistling "do your ears hang low"... it's unfathomable where he picks it up from, or what reminds him of it. He's way past the age of having to listen to it in school. Crap like that kills whatever good music I've got playing in my head and burns it's self right in there and bugs me until I counter it with some Ys or something. it's fricken annoying! oh, and slang and typing shortcuts are also pretty annoying. I'm so out of touch sometimes that I can't figure out anything some people type.

"He's way past the age of having to listen to it in school." What does this mean? Having to listen to it in school? I don't get it.

Seldane, "Do your ears hang low?" is a song for infants that kids here likely sing in school when they're 5 or 6 years old I think my brother got it from my cousin, who isn't exactly the age of having to hear that song either (although 12 is a much closer age), but loves music like that and will remember and sing it any chance he gets.

Oh God! I can't even begin to think how that came about, but it has got to be an unpleasant thing to go through.

Yeah, but I'll do alright. Just gotta make sure I stop spending so much money, and I'll be able to stay here, and get my name changed. They gave me a better reason to change my name now, having forgotten what I actually look like. I'm not really a dishonest person, but I'm forced into a dishonest situation, as my friend lied for me and told them that I "just stopped here for a visit a while ago and disembarked for New Mexico" that day, while I was asleep. I'm almost curious as to how they would've reacted if they knew exactly who I was. Maybe they wouldn't have given her an ultimatum. They insisted that they didn't know me, so her brother couldn't come visit her unless I weren't there. I can't worry about them. But the story can change. I could have "moved back". Then they could meet me and be alright with everything. From what I understand though, they're a pretty disapproving bunch. My only complaint is that I dislike being dishonest. Well, and the fact that I can't really hang out with her bro anymore, unless I want to be sneaky -- which again isn't entirely ideal to me. Beggars can't be choosers though, right? You need a good cold glass of lemonade.

Roar.
I have another one to add: Co-workers that won't stop bitching and whining about their work.
Holy crap. It sucks to sit near one. I hope I don't lose it one day and tell them to STFU and go look for another job.

Oh, oh, here's a new one for me. But it makes me sad more than angry, I guess. Shelling out almost $200 for physical therapy to tend a frightening shoulder pain, being given a clean bill of health and discharged... ...then the vile hurting comes back barely a week later. ;_; Oh, and I completely concur with the bitching coworkers thing. If they hate the job so much, they need to just leave. They probably aren't pulling their weight anyway, so the company should lose the baggage.

Gotta revive this thread for a sec. (Yes, I still remember that I created it. XD)
My dumbfuck of a next door neighbour decided to hold a party last night. REALLY STUPIDLY LOUD MUSIC WAS BLARING AND SHAKING THE HOUSE FROM 10 PM - 12 AM. After about an hour of silence, I suddenly start hearing them talk REALLY LOUDLY TO ONE ANOTHER.
I think the 2 hours of deafening music did something to their ears (and probably brains as well).
WHY THE HELL DO PEOPLE HAVE TO PLAY MUSIC SO LOUD AT NIGHT!?
I thought about calling the cops but that would be more effort than it's worth.
Why do I have such a dickhead for a neighbour?

I sometimes listen to music real loud, but it appears that the walls here are very thick, because it is impossible to hear it outside. I also only have one neighbour in this building, the floor underneath is a daycare center, and there's no way they could ever hear me. I can hear them a lot though, when they are outside playing in the yard (i e: constantly). Damn noisy children! Actually, watching them makes me want kids of my own.
