The PSP is dying!? No way! Lots of new titles coming out this year in North America! *_______*
Besides, if it dies, there won't be any more DJMax Portables. TTTTTTTTT~~

I said "dying" not dying. See?
It's true there are lots of awesome games coming out for it. MGS Peace Walker, KH Birth by Sleep (even if I don't like KH), FF Agito 13, Phantasy Star Portable 2, the Falcom games, The 3rd Birthday, MH Portable 3 and more. But the general consensus is that "it has no gaems" and with the PSP2 being announced this E3 doesn't help much either.

@alex I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed the DS game. It gets its share of shit (as you can see) but I didn't find it particularly bad. In fact, that was the game that turned me on to the Ys series about a year ago. If you've enjoyed it, there are plenty of good games coming out soon for you to check out. I mentioned it earlier, but when XSEED puts out Ys 7, that is definitely worth getting (can't decide if it's my favorite or not, but it's up there). Get Chronicles too and see if you like it better than the DS version. I did!

Yeah it seems I'm one of the few at the very least when people read my name around the forums they'll know me...
Me: 'sup guys?
Popular poster: Huh? Oh.. the guy who liked Ys DS..

It was mentioned earlier that Square had more employees and a bigger budget than Falcom, and you could compare it to Disney v. Studio Ghibli I suppose, but that doesn't stop Studio bringing out some beautiful films. To be honest I prefer them to Disney; there's more soul in it. But when all's said and done if Falcom are happy to produce for the PSP, then I'm all for it.

There's actually a rumor that Falcom IS, in fact, developing a PS3 action RPG right now. No clue if it's true, but if so, that would be absolutely amazing. (: In a way, I'm hoping it's a new Ys.

Too bad it's not going to be any of those, it's going to be the Ys 7 multiplatform they were talking about last year.
That's my theory, anyway.

Really? I dunno, I'd much rather see a Gurumin 2, a Zwei 3, or a brand new IP altogether... -Tom Since Gurumin is Zwei 1.5, Gurumin 2 IS Zwei 3!

Your math is flawed. If the Asterite is missing a globe, and you go back in time to take another globe from him, and return to him in the present, he'll be missing two globes until you give him the one from the past -- and then he's just missing one globe, so all was for nothing! (Well, -1 Present - 1 Past + 1 Present = -1 Present, therefore it really doesn't change a thing!) Unless you took the EXACT one he lost to begin with! ...I mean... If Zwei!! is 1, Gurumin is 1.5, and Zwei!! II is 2, then sequential logic should dictate that Gurumin 2 MUST be 2.5!

You're supposed to multiply instead of add, right?
If x=1.5y, then 2x would be 3y.

I see your problem. ...I mean... If Zwei!! is 1, Gurumin is 1.5, and Zwei!! II is 2, then sequential logic should dictate that Gurumin 2 MUST be 2.5! Gurumin ISN'T 1.5. It's 1.5 lots of Zwei.

So if it's 1.5 of Zwei, is that Zwei/Gurumin (1 1/3) or Zwei*Gurumin (3)? And does Zwei II = 4?

Crap, I bought a PSP soley for Ys 7. I'm afraid I'd buy a PS3 for the same reason. Here's hoping for a PC version as well!

I've found that even when you buy a system just for one game, you find twenty others that you didn't know existed but now want to play just because it's suddenly possible to do so. I picked up the PSP because I knew there would be a port of Ys VI (more fool me...) and it turned out pretty well even before Falcom turned it into their new system of choice. I'm still waiting for a PS3 title that absolutely demands I finally purchase one but given that there have been quite a few games that I'm kinda-sorta interested in but just haven't looked too closely at, I'm certain that once that one game comes out, I'll find a library of games waiting for me.
Honestly though, I'd be surprised if there was a PS3 Falcom game in the near future. PC seems a lot more likely for the multiplatform project since Falcom already has a fanbase there and they've got experience with it.

That's what I've heard. Also a couple of my friends have the PS3 and are call of duty fans. If I get one, I can always kill a ridiculous number of hours with online play as well.

I got my PS3 a few months ago and played a couple of games for it like White Knight Chronicles, FFXIII, LittleBigPlanet and my my latests puchcases have been SSFIV, Bayonetta and GoW Collection but I haven't played much of those last 3 games, in fact I haven't been using it much for other than streaming Anime on my TV via the browser. I'm just waiting for FF14.... I NEED that game! BTW, I received a box from Falcom the other day, it included Ys 1 and 2 Complete, IV, Origins, a sticker and some candy! Now all I need is my computer to play all those awesome games till FF14 comes out.
