Man, I don't want to play wii games with a wiimote. It better be easy to use. I don't know why they have to have some wierd controller. The virtual console looks good though in this demo. Can't wait for that!

I think it 's a good idea this new controller. I really hope we will get some new feelings. like the one we had 15 years ago between Atari 2600 joystich and nes controller. Why not change our manners ?

I REALLY don't like the idea of playing with a remote control. I will give it a chance of course, but right now it sounds very unappealing to me.

The cord will not be on the "real" controller. They aren't using cordless controllers when they're on display as people could easily steal them that way.

Signals blocked? Yeah if you're in the house next door! Seriously, modern wireless is very, very reliable. They aren't using that IR crap anymore, you know.

Hopefully they release another Smash Brothers Game Get my point? ~_^ You... stack your systems? Consoles should be treated with love! This is how I treat my systems (yeah I just had to take a picture, I love taking pictures.) Haha this picture is cleaner then what your room was

They ARE releasing another Super Smash Bros. game for Wii, namely Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
I've heard you can play it with the classic controller though (the only one so far).

I thought it was for the Wii. Unless you made that mistake on purpose. (EBS: Oops. Fixed now. )I'm looking forward to the games but mostly the old choices. Though I shouldn't expect too much, they may not have some of the obscure ones. The controller still appears threatening to me but may be quite tame when I actually use it. Let there be a Ys game for the Wii! Poor, innocent Gamecube and Nintendo 64.

Forgive my lateness:
I just saw at PCengineFX.com the controller made for the virtual console feature for the first time (where was I all this time?).
reaction > OMFG
Hmmmm.... so Pc engine games are also available for download eh? The question is > Are PC Engine CD games available for download. Well considering the size of those games, I dunno. The answer to that question will decide whether we'll see old school Falcom games on the Wii or not (oh please God hear me out).
Still, I'll definitely will get a Wii.

Your mom's dual shock is the only way to go!
Also, looking at the standard controller for the classic style, I am pondering how easy that will be on the hands. Arthritus flare ups suck =(
Edit: Also, is that a light gun designed to look like a sawed-off shotgun? If so, that is pretty awesome and makes me happy in my pants.

The battery thing is disappointing for me but just for an teensy weensy bit.
But this is the first time I heard about sensors - so do you like attach that to the tv and crap? I hope it works on my TV^^
This will indeed be the first next gen system I'll grab until the PS3 get's a decent game (Virtuas Fighter 5 eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!!!!!!!)
I can't wait for the Virtual Console feature but I still don't believe (or rather, haven't confirmed) that PC engine CD games are downloadable.
But man - grab a Wii and like have Zelda Twilight Princess as one of your first games..... *DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!*
Well there's also Smash Bros. Brawl too.... but I'll probably grab it only if there's an online multiplayer feature (or is there?)

I suppose it's possible that PCE CD games are downloadable, if they release bigger memory carts.

Hudson has confirmed that some kind of Turbo CD support will be in.
And the Wii-mote's sensor bar will work with all TVs. Or rather none, since the TV has absolutely nothing to do with the Wii-mote and its abilities. The Wii-mote seemingly has two ways of sensing responses: Independent tilt-sensing and being wirelessly tethered to the sensor.
