It's an instant classic! I am seeing it again on Wednesday. I got the soundtrack yesterday, and it's awesome to listen to.

Fufufufu. Just watched The Forbidden Kingdom. I was expecting it to be a really crappy movie but it wasn't that bad! Just ... sort of wish some of the fight sequences weren't that long though. :E I also sort of cringed every time Jet Li spoke. I like it more in the Hong Kong releases of his Chinese films where he's dubbed by another actor. :P
I still wonder why it's taken so long for Jet Li and Jackie Chan to make a film together. I guess it was an ego thing? D:

Yeah, The Dark Knight is awesome! I'm glad I got to see it now. X) The Joker is so twisted, but he's awesome. For a psychopath, he's very calculated in his ways. Very well done! The other guy... he was awesome, but now I'm sad.

Hmm, I'll still go watch X-files and I'll still like it.
As for the Dark Knight, just watched it. Never really liked Batman's character at all in the first place (nor other DC comic heroes). Still went ahead to watch it because I was interested in Heath Ledger's portrayal of Joker.
I guess the only redeeming feature of the film is the Joker. Pretty crazy bastard, but really cool. But the movie itself is too long for its own good. It kinda dragged on for Two-face's arc and here's where I feel the Joker became kinda redundant to the plot. And the movie writers kept on changing the Joker's mindset along the movie, from being just an insane bastard wanting chaos to some depressed maniac wanting to reveal humanity's ugly side.. I prefer the Joker in the first half of the movie.
And Two-face... just reminds me of a Terminator with flesh instead of metal.

I saw Rec yesterday. It's a spanish movie and it was very good. The acting was great.
To my dismay, I noticed that some scum from Hollywood are doing a remake of it. Such a shame. The people in Hollywood can't make good movies.

Yeah, pretty much for the most part. =\
And I very much feel you on Joker, Musa, even though I liked the movie as a whole. Joker just wasn't believable, however well he was acted.

Can't wait to watch Tropic Thunder. Seeing the 3 main characters together is going to be a hoot. Robert Downey Jr is awesome.

Wrydwad, I'm kinda envious of the way you watch movies every other second...
How on earth do you get the time to watch so many movies?
I get so wasted by my work 5-6 days a week that I hardly have the time nor the energy to hit the cinemas.

Hmm, I've always wondered. Are digital movies prevalent in cinemas over there? The cinemas over here suck because they only bring in digital movies for the really huge blockbusters like Transformers and Spiderman. So the number of movies screened in digital over my place here can be counted using just fingers.

Just watched X-files. Guess I'm gonna have to agree a little bit with you wrydwad. It was a little bit disappointing. It's like one long X-files episode. At least Mulder and Scully were great together. Too bad they didn't zoom in enough at that last scene during the end credits.

A bit of research shows that a number, if not most, movies are shot in digital formats these days, due to ease of editting, low costs, and so on.

Just got back from Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D... and man, was that ever refreshing! Dark Knight didn't do it for me, and X-Files didn't do it for me... but Journey 3D was pretty much *exactly* the kind of movie I love! Yes, it was cheezy, and yes, it was HORRIBLY schmultzy... but it was also an incredibly fun, entertaining, enjoyable movie experience. If you like good adventure movies, and you don't mind them being heavy on the cheez factor, this is an absolute must-see... 9.5/10. Best movie I've seen since Spiderwick Chronicles. -Tom You are never coming to my house for movie night dude..... Journey 3d over Batman? and when did Spiderwick Chronicles become a good flick??? I personally loved X-Files 2, but I am a sucker for anything Xfiles and I think it really fit into the whole series nicely. Plus Scully is still hot

JR'd a copy of Indy 4. Watched it with Swedish subtitles plastered on the bottom of the screen.
Nothing much to say about it other than the fact that the movie was forgettable.
I DID like the part where Indy was being pulling into a car though. XD
Oh yeah, I bought Stargate: Continuum on Sunday. I already watched it before thanks to mininova but I still wanted to see it in better quality.
If I didn't mention it before (too lazy to go back a few pages), my verdict on the movie is that it's eh. I liked it more than The Ark of Truth though.
One thing that annoyed me was that Daniel was so damn irritable throughout the entire flick.

I never really liked... the Bat Man. Christian Bale or not. I never really watched any of the previous Bat Man movies, only this one because I wanted to see Heath Ledger's Joker.
I'm still deciding between the Mummy or Journey 3D for my next movie escapade. Or just stay at home and play my Zwei.

The last movie I saw was the mummy 3. I liked this movie, it was entertaining. Some parts were better, some were not so good. The parts I really liked was all the clay effects, and the clay army. How the clay army fought, seemed genuine, and there were scenry parts, involving the clay army, I really liked.
