Sweeney Todd, for all it's gothtardation, is pretty good. But the songs themselves are so freaking dumb! I mean, goddamn Sweeney, we know your dead wife was beautiful. Was she anything else? Was she, like, intelligent or a good cook or at least a demon in the sack? And the song he sang with the judge...ugh. Goddamn Tim Burton, there's more than looks to sing about.
Also, was I the only one really hoping Sweeney would successfully kill the entire cast? Not out of any particular malice, just because I wanted to see him pull it off.

It won't be officially released here yet until next year because of the fault of CartoonNetwork who was holding up the license and they got mad about that in Japan. Luckily, they released it in the UK and it does have English star's voices with Timothy Dalton, Cheech Marin and Matt Levin. I was able to find a copy in Chinatown. Look for it in some asian dvd sites if you don't have a place to get imports. Just make sure to check if it's region 1 or 9 to play it here.

No prob, also check out the others I mentioned.
Initial D looks pretty good from what my friend said. I also saw a clip of Machine Girl, which will be out in June (if you like Versus/SARS Wars)

Saw sine bits of The Futurama movie last night. Didn't actually understand a thing of it though because my attention was elsewhere.
Might try to re-watch it later.

I will re-watch Futurama later. A friend invited me over to watch Cloverfield last night. It was good, but not as good as I had hoped/expected. Fairly unique movie, but still somewhat plagued by the typical Hollywood cliches. The ending was both excellent and disappointing at the same time.

I heard it has alot akin with "the blair witch project". You watch it once and you can't watch it again to get the same effect.

Yeah, it had some serious similiarities to Blair Witch, except it took place in a (sometimes deserted) city rather than in the woods.

Watched The Orphanage; this was really interesting and fun to watch, Del Toro has a good sense of atmosphere in the movies he makes, especially his foreign ones (glad to see he'll do the Hobbit next)
8.3/10

That happened with the Buffy series, as over 75% of the producers credited were actually from the movie and still held rights to the characters. They had nothing to do with the show.

Evil Dead 2 and Army Of Darkness. I'll never get over this obsession of mine, watching Bruce Campbell (Ash) and his friends constantly getting tortured, while Ash makes a comeback, and becomes the badass we all know and love today.
There needs to be more movies like those!

I have to admit, Pan's Labyrinth was a heck load better than Bridge To Terabithia. Maybe it's the fact that fiction had a huge significance to the film, as opposed to a stupid kid who gets killed over her imagination. I mean, BTT was stupidly depressing "yes, watch this movie and re-live your life". PL just had a more fantastical world overall.
I'll never get over the fact that I loved the movie that dad wanted to see, (the one he begged to see for 2 weeks straight) and he hated it. Spiderwick, that's what it was. Yeah, that one beats em all, in my opinion.

I loved Spiderwick, I dunno how I felt about Narnia; at least the first one. I'm waiting for Prince Caspian, however, that one entry may make all the difference in the world to my opinion of the series. I want to see Golden Compass though, if only for the fact I recognize the actress on all the dang posters.
I thought The Seeker was pretty decent. I don't read a whole lot of books, though; I find I need to develop an obsession before I can read one. Infact, I could only read The Prisoner Of Azkaban out of all the Harry Potter books.

As far as Happy... XD Harry Potter goes, 2, 3 and 5. 4 was just a little too... eh... miserable, (same reason I didn't like King Kong -- where's the GOOD endings?!) and 1 was a little too boring.
