I still think this series tagline needs to be 'TitS, everything that's awesome in RPGs'.
Also I propose that we hire 'B' to raid Gamespot HQ and steal that copy they played.

I think it's more unfortunate that the game sounds so generic without going into spoiler territory.

Hmm, when I first heard the acronym used here at this forum, I must admit I chuckled a bit at the unfortunate arrangement of letters that it indeed spells out. However, overtime I think I would agree more with my wife (who has played through the trilogy and loved it) when I told her about the acronym awhile back that a cheap, somewhat derogative term to describe a woman's breasts will most likely be used more often than not, for a game series that she regarded as a masterpiece, even moreso than Genso Suikoden II and Final Fantasy IV, which used to be her two favorite games of all time (FFIV since she was a child). That's saying a lot to replace your favorite game of all time from your childhood with the first installment of this Trails in the Sky series. It's supposedly just THAT good and if she is right and it does indeed end up being a better experience than Suikoden II (My personal all time favorite game) than I can certainly agree that it deserves more respect than the "TitS" label.

If it helps, the "official" acronym is actually LOH-TTS. That's what we've been using for all official documentation and such, and is much more presentable than TitS.  -Tom Ah, that's much better. Good move, when thinking about PR and publications! -Thomas |
