Shift. It's what real guitarists do. Yeah. Funny thing is that I've been playing for a couple years. (I mean on a real guitar.) I gets annoying that even some of the simpler songs on hard have you running up and down all five frets in rapid succession. With a real guitar, you could (and I often do) opt to play a given note on a neighboring string to get to a fret that's easier to reach. I guess I'm gonna have to break down and spend a lot of time in practice on each song to try to do well on them.

FURTHERMORE! "Are you sure you should be doing that, Avatar?" "No! You're going the wrong way!" "Rise from your grave, Avatar!" "THOU ART IN THE WAY!" "STAND ASIDE!" "MOVE ALONG!" Okei, so they weren't in all caps. :P And I can't remember who said it to who but this line from Serpent Isle cracked me up: "Thou art dung!" I also love it when you start attacking people and the party gets all "What are you doing, Avatar!?" I killed everyone in Paws in U7 without cheating or dying. I hated that village. :E Oh, and I killed Batlin several times too though I had to turn off his "invincibility" flag in order for him to even die. Edit: Mweheee. In Ultima VI, I loved moving the canons around and using them on NPCs. Afterall, the game doesn't penalize you. XD In Trinsic, I would put one several feet away from the guard patrolling the entrance and keep firing it at the guy. After he dies, another guard would replace him and I'd repeat the process. XD

Rogue Galaxy (PS2) and Gurumin (PSP) Just started on both. Never sure which one to play as they both rule. It's great to finally have something fun to play. Pretty rare.

Here's the trick to killing Batlin, Nunuu: Armageddon during the final battle.
Teach that hobo a thing or three.

Gurumin PSP is taking up all of my time. ALL of it. Awesome, awesome game.
Oh, and sometimes I go back to another Valkyrie Profile 2 playthrough (but not very often, I'm still not liking the game very much).
<3 Gurumin

Zelda Majora's Mask
I want more Twilight Princess, but instead I'll play this old gem. Takes some time to get in to, but when you do - it's aaawesome.

Some people complain about Majora's Mask too much. I really enjoyed it... I'd play it again sometime, but for some crazy reason it crashes my N64. Final mask on bosses was so much win.
Anyway, currently playing Gurumin and loving every minute of it. Obviously.

I can't use my N64 anymore as I can no longer stand composite (which is the only thing it offers) and my controllers are completely dead (damn those analog sticks!). So I'm playing the HORRIBLY emulated Gamecube compilation disc. Man it sucks. Frame rate issues, weird sound problems (lots of unpleasant noises every time you exit an area) as well as weird controls (the analog stick is too sensitive). I've heard it can crash at any time as well. Which scares me, as you usually don't save in this game (using the "pause" feature instead - the owl statues). If it crashes after beating 20% of the game (which it will, of course) I'll stop playing it.

Or you could just save?

You can't really save in Majora's Mask. You can either use the aforementioned "pause" feature or you can revert everything you've done (except major things like dungeons, etc). That'll save your game, sort of. It's a complex system, but it is brilliant. It adds to the difficulty (something that the Zelda series is free from otherwise). Unfortunately, it is still not hard - just slightly less easy.

You wont be disappointed with Taito Legends 2. Both PS2 and XBOX versions have a few exclusive games to them. Its seriously an outstanding compilation.

Well I found majora really difficult. Great game but really hard. The dungeons were great and those masks !!! well being a mojo was really cool. Well I had the N64 but now only the gamecube remains. still very good for a game we didn't pay. a gem, like all the Zeldas.
