Oh god, there's far too many to list. Top of said list would be Shadow of the Colossus, though. Been meaning to buy it for so long, and it still hasn't happened yet.

^ Having been in your shoes for far too long and JUST remedied that for myself, let me just say that the experience is worth it! TOP OF MY LIST IS SORA NO KISEKI. ALAS, WHEN FACED WITH THE THREAT OF A STORY-DRIVEN RPG WITH TEXT THAT EVEN THE GREAT WYRDY FEARS, I AM AS AN ILLITERATE. WOE IS ME. ;_; Other than that, uh... just the games I've got preordered. Much anticipation for seeing an english Sakura Taisen release and FF XIII.

There's always more stuff for me to play, but things I'd drop everything else to immediate play now if I could:
Sora no Kiseki (IN ENGLISH!) Phantasy Star generation 4 Suikoden 2

Let's see here...
Drakengard Super Robot Wars Z Sora no Kiseki Muramasa MadWorld House of the Dead: Overkill Ys IV & V Valkyria Chronicles Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 All the Ratchet & Clank Future games Star Ocean 4 Hokuto Musou (KOEI USA BETTER FUCKING LOCALIZE THIS MASTERPIECE)
And many more. Most of these are either games that I haven't gotten to yet, cannot find, or are unable to play entirely (ex. the PS3 and Wii games).
Sucks being poor.

I'm hoping it's a) for PC and b) have English patch/translation

It IS for PC, but the English patch is still in the works and likely will not be out for a long time.
The dialogue is ridiculously complex and there's a lot of it. Dialogue from just the first game takes up an entire book... and it's a trilogy.

NG2 on the 360 is fucking awesome, so I imagine NGS2 is even better, what with the new characters and such. :/

Wow man, you're late to the DMC4 party. I spent half of last summer playing that. Not as great as DMC3 but still worth a shot!

I plan on trying to get it sometime, though after Bayonetta I get the feeling I'll be very disappointed.

Far too many to list. Anything that's sitting on my shelf unplayed, I suppose, plus dozens more I'd like to buy that looked nice. ^_^ There are a few that come to mind more readily than others, though:
.hack series (I loved Sign, and adore long-running series that I can completely lose myself in. I was also really enjoying the atmosphere and story of the first game when I tried it years ago. Unfortunately the gameplay was too much for me back then, as I was sort of hopeless at realtime games, and not especially keen on dungeon crawlers to boot. Yakra's affectionate words toward the series in one of the now playing threads a while back made me curious to try it again, though. My tastes have changed a lot over the years, and I think it might be a lot of fun~)
Moon: Remix RPG Adventure & Shiroki Majo (Which, along with my already finished and much beloved Popolocrois 1 & 2, I think of fondly as 'The Tom Collection'. A long time ago, Wyrdwad's glowing review of Popolocrois II led me to a pair of games that grew to mean a great deal to me at a not so happy point in my life. And anything he speaks about with the same level of fondness is something I want to try.)
Grandia in Japanese (As a sort of thank you, I suppose. Grandia had a big hand in making me want to learn Japanese, and my study of the language has been of huge importance to me over the years. It's one of these debts I'll never be able to repay properly, but I thought it might be nice to go back and play the game in its native language. It seems appropriate, seeing as how I entered university this year to earn a degree in the language, to go back and say, "Look, Grandia! I learned all this 'cause of you!". ^_^)
The Sora no Kiseki trilogy (But I'm doing something about this one! I've gotten back to the first game after finishing up Final Fantasy XIII, and am currently midway through Chapter 3. It's all sorts of lovely, too! But that's another story for another topic~)
The Gagharv Trilogy (It's Falcom! And it's story and character driven! Also, Shiroki Majo is a fundamental part of The Tom Collection, as detailed above. ^_~ I was initially put off by the surprisingly high level of Japanese in the games, but that was several years ago, and I don't fear much after playing Sora no Kiseki.)
Suikoden Tierkreis (I bought a DS recently! So now there's no excuse.)

I plan on trying to get it sometime, though after Bayonetta I get the feeling I'll be very disappointed. That depends, if you got the PS3 version of Bayonetta it's probably only slightly better at best. DMC4 was great anyway, aside from the repetetive stages.

I got the 360 version, though the PS3 version's technical issues really aren't a deal-breaker for me, and I don't remember the last time I gave a shit about graphics.
I'm more concerned about DMC4 not having the epic dialogue and impeccable gameplay of Bayonetta than any repetition in stages.

Heh, Nero is kind of a faggot, but Dante is still cool. The gameplay is fine, probably not as good as Bayonetta's, though, but I wouldn't know.
But if 45-second load times and loading when scrolling through the menu, as well as half the framerate of the 360 version wouldn't make the quality of the game drop for you, then I dunno what to tell you. =/ It's the only reason I'm waiting for a price drop instead of being all "SQUEEEE GOTY 2010" like most message boards are. Well, I still wouldn't call it GOTY, but you know what I mean. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's still a big deal.
Anyway, on topic: Sora no Kiseki Ys Seven Tales of Vesperia (still hoping for a PS3 localization, though I seriously doubt it'll happen) Bayonetta Darksiders FFXIII Heavy Rain Lunar Silver Star Harmony (or w/e it's called) tons and tons of other games

I'm kind of surprised that my babbles too could help influence someone's 'want to play!'-list. And more than slightly worrying. X'D Now I'm half scared that Fai shall pop in the G.U. games and after attempting to go through a bit of it she'll be like 'Wat this mad girl talketh about?!' *Yakra stab* (This kind of reminded me, offtopic, that I read that Link is to be the last game in the seres? ....D: *cries*) Anyways, on topic~ Like the rest of you guys, the list is actually WAY too big to actually note down here. And kind of useless too, since I'm sure, looking at the speeds with which I play and finish games, it'll probably take me a year or two to even think of touching half of them. (By which time, newer games will have come out and will be distracting me too! Ah... endless cycles~~~) So! What I shall do is write down the names of the games I DO plan to play sometime soon. Those that have been on the waiting list for a while. First off - Disgaea! Yes, despite all me Disgaea prattling, buying Prinny stuffs, and gawking at the nendoroids, I actually haven't played a single game of this series. At first it was simply because I had the second part, but the first had not arrived. And then, by the time I got me hands on the first and was ready to play, far more interesting games (Mana Khemia!) had arrived in my grasp. I'm wondering though - if I play the PSP version - Afternoon of Darkness - instead of the original PS2 one, will I be playing a watered down version? Next is Star Ocean. Random bad luck and lack of availabilty has always kept me away from these. I grabbed the PSP remakes(?) though. And just noticed them rotting away on me memory stick. I know most of ye have eternal, ever burning hates for these games buuuut.... I've pretty much loved ALL the Tri-Ace stuff I've played. LOVED! So... how bad can these be? And then... Jeanne d'Arc! This is another game I be absolutely dying to play! But I guess I love torturing myself, by not allowing myself to? X'D Warriors Orochi 2! I just discovered they were originally PS2 games! *idiot* I think I'll grab the PSP version of this again though. Musou crap made portable is most enjoyable. Persona 3 & 4. Hem. I deserve a big kick for this. I actually bought the game, went hyper over the artbooks, yet cannot manage to make the time to finally play these! Soon... soon!! Mana Khemia II. This one is next! (Finish Ar Tonelico II! Finish!) Atelier Iris II. Ye know... I still haven't played this. It just wouldn't arrive in the markets here. Everytime I ordered it online, the post office stole it. (Twice! ) Not even a piratey version online was available! D: Then finally I got it. All I need now is tiiiiiiime. :'D Ys IV - Dawn of Ys. I technically CAN play this.... But I want to play it on me PSP! And finally OZ. I don't really know why I want to play this. :/ Beyond the fact that some random stage has some remix of Suiko V's music and I want to hear that! X'D (Me god. Long babble again. D: )

Valkyria Chronicles is also great. Some SRPGs get stale rather fast, I liked FFT, but I had to play it at a very slow pace.

Koei will not miss out on releasing a Musou game over here. :P They make too much money on the braindead crap cuz Musou Lemmings will buy them up without a thought!
Anyway, my would-like-to-play list is as follows (off the top of my head):
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - Jolly Rogered it and couldn't get a patch to work. Will probably end up buying it used.
The House of the Dead: Overkill - Kept procrastinating on buying this even though the price KEPT dropping on Amazon Canada. Eventually, Amazon sold out of their own stock and now some company is selling it for a price that I don't want to pay. >_>
Probably have more but I'm too lazy to think about this right now. Work. ;;_;;~

Kind of. :P Well, I suppose I will probably finally become one if I actually pick up the PS3 version of Samurai Warriors 3... :'''D (Meaning, for once I shall actually have to (o shock!) buy~!!!!!! :O) The reason I haven't is because I pretty much hate strategy RPGs. I just... can't stand them! I can respect them as good games, but I don't find them fun. And yes, this includes the genre greats, like Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea. I've been assured, though, that Jeanne d'Arc (and, for that matter, Valkyria Chronicles) have the best possible chance of being exceptions to this rule. -Tom And you sound like the exact opposite of me with that statement! Since.... I tend to like SRPGs the most somehow. :'D Not that I be playing all those that I keep eying and collecting! :''''D But! I do tend to like the ones I do get round to playing.
