Become a rabid CAPCOM fanboy instead. Problem solved. Also, this pic here will make anyone think twice before announcing their undivided love for Bayonetta.

Yeah, I dunno who that person is. Not much resemblance there, either.
Politicians are always politicians, though, no matter when or where. ign

Become a rabid CAPCOM fanboy instead. Problem solved. Already am. Also, I don't really think she looks that much like Palin. Sure, they're both middle-aged and bespectacled, but that doesn't mean they look the same. I think it's just another excuse for the people who are pissed at Kamiya and co. for taking Platinum to Sega.

Nunuu is making us go offtopic. XD Not that I mind. *glances at her avatar* I should probably play Okami sometime. ...There we go. Seriously, though, I have a ton of "I'd like to play this sometime" games, as my backlog suggests. There are a few standouts in there, though. SMT: Nocturne in particular has been tempting for a while. I like the idea of monster collecting as a game mechanic, but the prime example of this -- Pokémon -- is just tedious for me to play through. From my (admittedly weird) perspective, SMT: Nocturne looks like it's going to be kind of like Pokémon (gameplay-wise!), but with an actual plot, maturity, and difficulty instead of tedium -- in short, a monster collecting RPG without the things that drag me down about the monster collecting RPGs I've played. (I don't mind cute things at all, but it's hard not to admit that SMT and Pokémon are at pretty opposite ends of the spectrum there. ...And, yes, I'm kind of expecting a little ribbing for even mentioning Pokémon. I know a few people who are seriously into the multiplayer aspect of the series, but I'm not one of them.) I'm still in the middle of Lost Odyssey and Dragon Quest IV, though, so I probably won't be playing any more traditional RPGs for a while -- and, as a result, it'll probably stay in my backlog for a little while longer, as cool as it looks.

Ausdoerrt, by saying that pic will make ANYONE think twice, you seem to be implying that absolutely everyone, without exception, hates Sarah Palin. Remember, though, there ARE Republicans out there, too! And people from other countries, who don't really know much about her, for that matter. Especially on this board, I don't think Sarah Palin hatred is particularly off the charts. Cool pic, though. The resemblance IS kinda startling. If they ever make a Bayonetta movie, it would kick serious ass to cast Palin in the title role. -Tom You don't have to be a democrat to hate Sarah Palin, or to find her stupid/unattractive. Also, I'm foreign as well

And Bugen: I wholeheartedly recommend Nocturne. Just be prepared for the long haul, as that is NOT a short game. *nods* There are times when I want a ginormous RPG to really sink my teeth into -- and when it gets to be that time again, I'll probably start on Nocturne. That time isn't now, though, which might be why I'm having so much trouble finishing up DQ4. (I'm still enjoying Lost Odyssey, but my 360 is hooked up to the family TV where it looks better but which I can't spend much time on.) What I play is largely based on my whims of what kind of game I'm looking for at a given time (a subconscious thing that comes down to what's going on in my life and how I'm feeling), and playing Ys VI found me wanting to play more action RPGs at the moment. Maybe I'll start on Kingdom Hearts II -- or Okami, or (despite the avatar I'm using here) one of the Zelda games I haven't played through yet.

You also don't have to be a Republican to think she's NOT stupid, and actually kinda cute for her age. True, but regardless of political affiliation I can't see myself ever respecting or take anything serious from anyone who can't see what a complete airhead Palin is.

Aw man, just when I wanted to comment that I think Palin looks pretty. ^^; But yeah, we should stop the bashing.
*goes off on random babbling ...*
This reminds me of a time I was making fun of Russell T. Davies at the Gateworld forum. Moderator came in to delete my messages saying that it was okei to criticize ideas but not the person. XD
Thing is, when we talk about how a person's story writing sucks and such, we ARE usually talking about what comes out of their mind, not the person him or herself.
Guess I had to be more precise when I talk about RTD although I still say I'm very glad his brain no longer writing for Doctor Who.
I'm sure RTD is a swell person (but just doesn't have the concept of exposition down)!

Such irony on that, wyrd, because almost everyone I know likes Steven Moffat's (I'm taking that's the other guy although there are a few others that write too) works a hell of a lot more than RTD's.
Even his Girl in the Fireplace episode (one of my favouriets) won awards. :B Not sure if any of RTD's stories got any. >:333 (Looks like he won a BAFTA in 2006 for best writer but not specific to any episode?)
Ha. RTD was nominated for his Midnight episode. My brother like it muchly! I thought it was okei but it still bothers me that Davies likes to pull shit out of nowhere. Like there was no background or motive on the alien in that one. It was just there.

The writer my friends like more than the others is the one who wrote the library planet episode - with the creatures living in the shadows, people finding themselves with two shadows, the weird little girl, and the walking corpse-in-a-space-suit that keeps repeating, "Hey! Who turned out the lights?!" Whoever wrote that is the only one whose episodes I've seen, and I've quite enjoyed them. That would be Steven Moffat. :D He's a very imaginative and creative man, I say! Most of his stories have some horror aspect to it though. .___.;; I'm still freaked out over The Empty Child till this day. "Are you my mummy?" I liked Girl in the Fireplace and Blink. (Watch this year's episodes cuz he's the main writer and them weeping/face-hiding statue creatures from Blink are back! :D) I hope he explores the whole River Song thing in this season. (She's the supposed love interest of the Doctor from the future -- the only one the Doctor ever disclosed his name to. She was one of the explorers from the Silence in the Library + The Forest of the Dead episodes ye watched.)
