Yeah thats true, perhaps were starting to run along the same thought process that made square want a sequel for FFX. FFX2 does seem to make up for a very "rushed" experience from the first game. The main character is also a native of the current setting, as in FFX Tidus was not. They really compliment eachother which is nice.
And FM-77, I downloaded the dvd ages ago and I will rip it for you if you want. I cant watch it on most computers and no dvd player will play it. It is in Pal 50 hz or something and its region 2. Boxtorrents my still have it.

Personally, my favorite thing about FFX-2 is Shuyin, because he's why Tidus is Tidus, and not someone else. That was pretty frickin' cool to find, I think.

I am also glad they left the series where it is now. No more side stories, shitty movies and crappy cell phone games that well never get. (I really hate Square sometimes for making 7 so stale.)

Oh god your right, for all I know there is going to be a new first person psudo 3d game, that stars Jecht, on a super awesome never before seen quest. Beefed up with uber cool fmv graphics and if you pay $10.00 more you can get it in a metal box!!
I would be called Final Fantasy 10-2-1 - Super Shin Symphony Scrambled Side Story

Well, FFX-2 was based off of seventies movies, and had an all female cast with a new character named Paine who was emogoth. So FFX-3 would be based off eighties movies and have to have an all male cast (Tidus and Wakka), and a new character called Ecstasy who is flamboyantly gay.
...Fuck, that actually sounds pretty fun.

I'm thinking more like Benimaru from King of Fighters, myself.

Don't speak too soon. You never know what they are plotting =[ Yeah I just found out they're making a sequal to FF4 on the Mobile phone in japan. Seriously that game doesn't need a sequel.(Even though the game was badass I want for the DS)

Has cell phone gaming technology been emulated yet? If so then I may be interested, plus there is that other FF7 game for cell phone I would like to play.

No.
And I strongly doubt it will ever happen. Especially considering there's no general "cellphone technology" - they all pretty much work differently, which would require numerous emulators.

How can there possibly even be a sequel?! (Kain gets abducted by a band of moogles while on his journey of self-discovery and has a whole new world of happy adorableness opened to him...) ...I'm kind of really interested though. X'D

Yeah, but the thing is FF4 is 18 years old and now they decide to make a sequel. FF7 is 12 years old too and they start making spin-offs now. And why the mobile phone, why not the GBA or Ds or something, I hate phones. www.square-enix.co.jp/mobile/ff/ff4after/

This is so fucking gay!!!
Square finally makes what looks to be an actual decent sequel to a Final Fantasy game, and we cant even import it.
Nintendo would make a killing if they licensed it for the VC.

That actually looks very, very good! Ofcourse, looking good and actually being good is entirely another matter... Seeing how the game revolves around that bratty looking Ceodore(?), I'm suspecting it might just be following an overly happy, chirpy theme... (Not that I really mind... that much. I mean, FFVII's world seems to be drowned in perpetual gloom with the multitudes of sequels!) Why am I even thinking about it? Not like I'll ever see this! (I never thought I'd ever say this, but... I think I actually miss the time Yoshitaka Amano was the character designer! D: (Atleast looking at this! Though Gilbert/Edward actually looks good! X'D))

Yeah Yoshitaka's work was brilliant for sure. I want his artbook, but I hear its damn hard to get a hold of.

I have his Vampire Hunter D artbook, pretty bitchen. I thought Yoshitaka did character designs for every FF, well maybe not after FFX.

I thought Yoshitaka did character designs for every FF, well maybe not after FFX. Nah, FFVII, FFVIII, and FFX were Nomura Tetsuya gigs. I think Amano didn't do anything for FFXI either. Not sure who worked on that but it might have been various artists. I never touched that MMORPG before. :P FFXII was by the guy that did designs for FFT and Vagrant Story. FFXIII is back to Nomura, IIRC. My knowledge of character designers for FFIV and before is like non-existent. XD

I looked at one of his artbooks a long time ago and saw cloud, squall, cecil, and Tidus designs in it and many others. Maybe I'm wrong or they added from other artists.
