PScrap. xD I'll stick with that name.
I'd like to see these games on PC before anything else, then wish for ports.
But actually I wouldn't mind it being released for the PS3... the system is more powerful than my PC and it's powerful enough to make the game really look good anyway. And I also use a PS2-modeled controller when playing Ys games.
Plus, it would make my PScrap become a PS3. xD

Well if anything Id rather have Ys VII on the PStrash, Id rather not have to buy a new PC.

Only reason I already have one is cuz I got such a sweet deal. I got mine for around 350 IIRC, when it was going for 500, plus, I got 5 free bluray's...which I sold, plus I only had to pay like 30 bucks a month for a year, with no interest, & it has PS1/2 bc, so, I'm happy with it, & games are gradually coming out for it, that I want.

I don't think there's any doubt whatsoever that Falcom will be releasing this on the PC, possibly in addition to some other console. Falcom won't be abandoning the PC platform anytime soon. -Tom I'm inclined to agree with this. Falcom don't seem like the kind of company to spit in the faces of the gamers who've got them where they are.

Well that is true. Falcom is the last bastion against a Hentai-only PC market in Japan. Well there's also Kogado but they only make cutesy 2d non pornographic advs and simulation games.

Looking at Falcom Daisuki!!, it appears to be claiming that Ys 7 is indeed The Five ___ Dragons of Altago. Like we ever doubted it.

according to the latest news feed of Falcom they are doing something with the Tokyo Anime Fair, do game companies regularly go to that event? I haven't heard of that before...what if there is a new Falcom anime coming? OMGWTF *bounces around his room*

Garghav triology or Sora no Kiseki VI would be fine materials for anime. I honestly don't understand why nobody tried to make anime series out of them while there are so many horrible anime adaptations for hentai games.

Tsukihime was bad but Fate was O.K. In fact, at least original games had good plots. Shuffle! and School Days on the other hand... let's not even talk about them.

I watched the School Days anime.... then watched a playthrough of the game..... Wouldve never guessed On a more related note: I cant wait for some Ys 7 concept art, I wanna atleast know if Adol has grown alot since his last adventure and what characters will be in this one.

I definitely do not remember any non-anime related company there because every booth I see is anime, anime and anime. Hmmm.... Tsukihime was bad but Fate was O.K. In fact, at least original games had good plots. Shuffle! and School Days on the other hand... let's not even talk about them. No way, Tsukihime anime is better than Fate. Played both games and felt that Tsukihime anime stuck more to the original game than Fate.

No way, Tsukihime anime is better than Fate. Played both games and felt that Tsukihime anime stuck more to the original game than Fate. I disagree. Tsukihime anime just hardly ever touched on characters in general and storytelling was sloppy at best (whoever didn't play the game would be confused). Honestly, I didn't have much expectation for anime when it was announced since I knew it would be almost impossible to put complex details of all characters into 13 episodes. In fact, since the manga adaptation is much closer to the original material than the anime, so I don't see any reason to bother with the anime at all. For Fate, it seems like they tried to mix all three routes together but failed miserably. I didn't have much hope for it for the same reason as the above but some interactions between characters at least amused me a little. I still wouldn't recommend this to anyone else, though. The reason why I think Garghav trilogy or Sora no Kiseki VI would make much better anime than the above two is that their storyline is simple but deep. There is no need to explain the world around them (as many visual novels/ novels need to) and it's easy for viewers to take on the protagonists' points of view and find more about the world as the protagonists travel. Some details will be missed out but the overall story is simple enough to be condensed into 13 or 26 episodes easily without missing important part of character development.

Or, they can be 52 episodes long, and show everything That is what I would like Falcom to do for Sora no Kiseki VI anime adaptation. IMO, Sora no Kiseki VI trilogy would be much better for anime adaptation than Garghav trilogy since the viewers need to know the entire history of Garghav in advance to understand some connections from one story to another in Garghav trilogy while Sora no Kiseki VI's story is essentially one long ride.

Errr... Falcom aren't announcing anything. They're just dumping their leftovers from the Akiba event onto Kogado's booth like they did at Comiket. I doubt Falcom themselves will even be attending. Also, the Tsukihime anime was... average at best. Fate was definitely better, but that wasn't stellar either. The only really good Type Moon adaptation is the Kara no Kyoukai movies. Point is, Key/VA knows what's up when it comes to anime adaptions of visual novels. It's not so much Key know what's up, it's just that Kyoto Animation are awesome and really love the stuff they work on. It shows.
