Amazon still sells the component cables with the 2000 series warning on it, which is misleading as customers these days will think that games won't play on the TV with the 3000 series.

Yeah, the cable I bought just has a little sticker in the corner saying "This works with the 3000 series too!"

Thanks for all the help, the TV attachment has convinced me. A few more questions though.
-Is the PSP region free?
-Is it possible to go online without wifi, meaning a wired connection.

PSP is region-free.
I'm not sure, but I think you can't go online using the PSP without wifi.

the character art is awesome, but I don't like the new illustrations. I preferred the work of Makoto Shinkai, he does awesome backgrounds

I rather disliked it. I don't know. They got chibi-ish faces with normal body. That's... weird loli xD I'm not saying they're terrible or anything though. Also, it is said it will have the PC-8801 music, original music and "PC" music. Now, with "PC", are they referring to the ETERNALs' or COMPLETE's? Because, as far as Ys I music goes: Ys ETERNAL > Ys I COMPLETE Comparing both is like comparing God with a worm. I'm not much of a fan of the Ys I-II COMPLETE soundtrack. But, by coincidence, just yesterday I was able to hear Ys ETERNAL's soundtrack and... Oh My F***ing God. I think it's The Best Ys Game in terms of music that was ever done. Well, actually I think it's on par with TCD's, having some better and worse arrangements here and there. |

So we just found out something else we vehemently disagree on, Ys-wise*. Yeah, after watching the original Ys 2 opening there (I don't think I've actually seen it somehow... though that's not hugely surprising seen as I haven't played the game itself either) either keep that, get a new Shinkai opening, or nothing  While I'm here I really need to pick up the blurays of his movies. Even though I don't have a PS3 in Japan yet. And Red, everyone needs something they disagree with wyrdy on |

Three playable characters? I guess that isn't such a huge surprise after Origin.
Is that girl using a bow?
After a second thought, I don't like the character designs that much. But maybe playing as Dogi would make up for that.
