I haven't done a Transformer purchase dump lately, so deal with it: left to right: -Energon Downshift, the most PIMP Transformer ever. So pimp he gets redecoed black w/ red flames and named Big Daddy for the first Movie line (I'm working on obtaining Big Daddy). So pimp that he shows up in every TF picture minus one featuring a combiner more pimp and blinged out than him -Power Core Combiner Steamhammer w/ Constructicons. Best PCC yet, but suffers a flaw with Steamhammer. Small hooks do too good of a job keeping his legs in place during vehicle and combiner mode. I know they'll snap someday soon -Transformer Collectors' Club exclusive Landquake, Heatwave, and Spiderman.. err.. Breakaway. I bought Landquake at a TF Collectors' meet&greet, joined the TFCC just to buy Heatwave & Breakway and now have to find the remaining 2 robots that make up their combined form Nexus Prime. Sadly those remaining figures will each cost as much as these 3 guys together -Bruticus Maximus Swindle and Blastoff form the stand-in legs for Nexus Prime -Knock Off G1 Stunticons/Menasor. I took a risk and bought a high quality knockoff of Menasor. It wasn't as high quality as I had hoped. My coworker's KO dinobots were amazing -G1 Terrorcons/Abominus. The dude's knees have TEETH! -Transformers 2010 reissue Predaking. Now with more gold paint! Luka Megurine figma I personally can't wait until her giant tuna fish is release for Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity as a Sword. It's been announced but isn't out yet

Wish me luck. I've just been tipped off that a local privately owned game store has a complete copy of Lufia 2. Tomorrow morning I'll skip out of work and be there just as they open. Hopefully they'll still have it in

Also, Schlag owns MoTB? Cool stuff! I bought it used but it is in great condition and has the Legends 2 demo disc. Tron Bonne is the only Legends game I've ever played though. I guess I'll weigh in on my favorites Classic: 2 (only because it was my first does it get first), 3, 5, V, 9, and some of the music from 8 & IV X: 1, 2, 4 (btw I don't hate X5, just the time limit mechanic coupled with bosses having to be a certain level to get their special upgrades. Without that game I would enjoy it a lot more) Things I forgot from before: Man, when 9 came out. It was just like that Penny Arcade comic.. I played it and felt like I was a kid playing MM2 again. First night I had it, I got up to and stopped at the final boss. I have played Zero 1 & 2, and intend to get the Zero collection some day. Zero 1 I completed 100% and Zero 2 is when I started getting tired of my portables until I got my PSP.

The comment was completely tongue in cheek.
Though I did own a Wii for half a year before any other of the current gen systems. Though I also owned a Genesis, Sega CD, 2 PS2, GC, SNES, DS, and DC at that time

I'll never remember the fun of my bard in another campaign feather falling, jumping down a sewer grate, rescuing a fallen damsel, and climbing her back out before a horde of zombies ascended on her, slowly. That is officially the opposite of Deleon then. He was horribly clumsy outside of performing, bluffing, or diplomacisizimilating... though that was mostly due to me rarely rolling above a 10 during that campaign. He once accidentally killed a dragon while trying to stun it so he could talk it out of attacking the party.

Excluding people who only have a Wii, naturally. They're not real video game players, anyhow <_<

And thankoo! My SO loves her some Ys, but I don't think I've ever done that to her. Maybe if I find a corner I could find out her measurements! But don't put on the Mask of Eyes or else you'll just creep her out. ;P

I did not know Faris's last name until just now. <_<
I attribute my appreciation of Amano to owning Nintendo Power's FF3 strategy guide. So much beautiful artwork in there.
You should see the new CG movie Amano is doing the designs for. While the outfits are more subdued, the faces/hair are all classic Amano, complete with male lipstick...

Yo did someone say Mega Man? ;P Huge fan of the classic and X series
I'm not big into no-hit, buster only, and/or speed runs. I just play for fun and to this day will occasionally do a single-sitting clears for fun (though last time was pretty depressing.. my only audience fell asleep for the end of Mega Man 2 and slept through 80% of Mega Man 3. Not to mention the game-breaking bug I found AFTER defeating Wily in Mega Man 1)
I've played all the classic series (1-10, I-V on GB), love the soundtrack to 8, even own a SFC cart of Rockman & Forte, and once said "if I don't eat lunch today, I can afford another [PSX rerelease] Mega Man game" while studying abroad in Japan. I thoroughly love the X series, but stopped after X5.
Ruby Spears Mega Man was at least better than the Captain N Mega Man. How much of a mockery he was even angered me as a child.
Finally, Rhyanna I will loan you my copy of Misadventures of Tron Bonne if I have to. That game has to be experienced if nothing else from the Legends series

tarrasque comment reminded me of a college D&D group. I was about the only story-centric player out of a group of min-maxers (and thus the Bard) and we had a running joke about how much longer before the DM just throws a tarrasque at us, including tarrasque planning sessions.
The session after I bowed out of the group, they unleashed a Demi-Lich. I guess Deleon the Love Bard (not my nickname for him) chose the right time to go solo!

I still have the game cart, I should get around to finally beating it once I can figure out how to actually freaking see anything in the game. I always started by cranking the gamma to max on the cart. Shame that setting doesn't save. Plus I generally had the brightness turned up on my TV at the time for all video games

I experienced Blast Corps late, but one weekend while I was in college, I came home to find that a couple of my friends had picked up a copy. That weekend the 4 of us took turns playing levels until we finished the entire thing. Each of us became proficient in one particular vehicle and would pass the controller around as needed.
We stopped before trying to get the platinum medals killed the fun of the game

I'll agree on Paper Mario. I used Wii points I got during Christmas to buy it and Sin & Punishment. It was my first time playing both.
Still wish the VC would get Doom 64 but I figure it wasn't that popular and licensing would be a nightmare

As for Phantasy Star Portable... nobody plays 'em for story. -Tom Yeah, I'll agree. But the characters are.. well characters, the world lore is interesting (especially now that they're linking PSU with PSO), and the game offers character customization almost as detailed as City of Heroes, so people grow more attached to their characters than other dungeon crawlers or MMOs where you'll look the same as anyone else that is your race/class. I stopped RPing years ago, but each of my PSO/PSU characters have a story behind them.. and that's a pretty common thing among PSU players

I'm remembering how Nintendo Power used to call their RPG section Epic Center. And last year I went through all my issues to find obscure stuff as it was just starting, or stuff that never came out in the US.. like Pokemon for the former, and Tales of Phantasia, BS Zelda, Star Ocean, Radical Dreamers, Fire Emblem, Wonder Project J for the latter
Those were some amusing reads, looking back on it all

I don't hate it, but Galbalan's voice wasn't what I was expecting. It just sounded like a normal guy talking.. I was expecting some voice filters and a lot more HAM. All the memorable RPG villains are ham incarnate.. Ghaleon, Zophar, Dracula, Albedo, Kefka.. okay Kefka didn't talk in his game, but when he did in Dissidia, it was wondrous!

I was more blah about the beginning of the game until fighting the dragons. I liked how every fight with them was multistaged and I'm an overall fan of dragon boss song
