Thanks, I was waiting for them to add it.
I'm pretty sure it's going to be cheaper (from past experience) than importing from Amazon, so I'll probably cancel my Amazon pre-order and change to there soon.
Ah, I thought as much, though it's nice to have confirmation that it's hitting Europe. Thanks : )

Thanks for the info. I was actually going to mention that maybe it's already out and I hadn't noticed, but didn't think it would be that coincidental : P
Silly me, I forgot to ask about this game as well. Is there any information about when it'll hit the European PSN as well, or is it still too early?
Ah I see, thanks for the detailed answer. Personally I'm happy with the pin as well (I once joked to myself that it would be cool to have a real Bracer badge and pretend to be a Bracer now I just need to get my hands on the Bracer's Notebook). It was just a little weird, solely going by past experiences (Ys SEVEN and Oath, Lunar to an extent), that there was nothing art-related. Now if the soundtrack was missing, I'm sure everybody would be bugging you about it X D
Also... jots down 2025 as an important date in my calendar j/k

The LE has probably been more or less finalised by now, but there was a question I forgot to ask earlier:
Was there any specific reason for not including an artbook of some kind? Since Ys SEVEN, which was XSEED's first localised Ys game, came with a Ys series artbook, I was so sure this game would come with a Sora artbook.
Yikes, I'm surprised this got mentioned. It was just about the best thing I could think of to raise interest in the game. Although FE is a relatively niche series (well, more popular than Falcom in the West) and its popularity has declined in recent years, so I doubt I made much impact.
If you can suggest any other good ways to plug the game, I'd be happy to try it. My sphere of influence probably isn't even a tenth of what Wyrdwad's ^^;;;
Which also reminds me, and this is probably slightly off-topic, but is there a date for when Oath in Felghana will be available from the European PSN? I suggested Ys SEVEN and Oath in Felghana for a gaming site to review; they've since reviewed SEVEN, but they're probably still waiting for Oath to hit the PSN.

Nice, the badge is an interesting idea as well : D
Ditto. Time to start hunting for the LE online...
EDIT
Okay, I just noticed Amazon.com can ship it to the UK, but the total cost is around $63 ~ £40. A bit on the high side, but I could pay that much for this game.

Ah I see. I just read his description in the 3rd's instruction manual and I noticed it makes a few references to that scene, so I figured then that it wasn't optional.
Oh yeah, I noticed that as well. I was kind of thinking he might offer to help Loewe or offer comforting words. Instead, I was like "huh, where did he go?".
A probably completely unrelated question, but I'm not sure if it warrants a new thread, does anybody know what subject Klose studies at the Jenis royal school? I have a feeling she mentioned it in FC (Literature or something?), but it's been so long ago that I've forgotten >___<
It might be useful for something I'm working on : o

I'm thinking of getting it, but I need to check to see if my credit card works.
If I read correctly, the price is 115 Yen, right? Which is just over 1 USD.

Whoo, just beat the game!
Loewe was kind of scary, but slightly easier than I expected. I was kind of expecting him to be crazily overpowered like when you fight him in FC. However, with Kevin spamming Earth Shield and Grail Sphere, he was fairly manageable (that and I prepared tons of CP boosting foods this time round...).
Is it the scene that occurs right after defeating Loewe where he mentions a person that Kevin knows? Or is it the scene where Kevin confronts Weissman (sp?) right at the end?
Haha, I don't know really; I don't think I'm a huge fan of his character for some reason. Besides, I usually stick with Klose for healing, although I'll admit Kevin was very useful when dealing with Loewe and the final boss : )
His sudden personality change when confronting Weissman has greatly raised my interest in him though...

Thanks, I tried sending along Tita to the first Renne battle, but she kept getting slaughtered : P
As for bringing along Kevin, is it because that particular boss battle was made harder? I'm assuming his mass area guard S Craft comes in handy (I haven't had a chance to use it yet though).

Just curious, I've reached the second major boss at Axis-Pillar (sp?) and I was wondering does anything major happen if you bring Zin or not? I'm kind of lazy to trek back to add him to my party >___<
I did go back to redo the first major boss with Olivier added to my party, but there wasn't any real difference (I liked his dialogue though : P). Although I did end up swapping out Klose, not sure if that changed anything.
Also, I'd prefer if there were as few spoilers as possible, thanks!

I did a quick Google search and found them on this album. It seems there's a whole bunch of other interesting images there as well.

Not sure how many people are going to be affected by this, but a few weeks ago Interwise, the company that translates Falcom games into Chinese in certain regions, teased this on their website. There's also some tidbits on their Facebook, but it's not loading for me ATM. What the image says (although it's trivial considering the context) is along the lines of "The grand legend(s) is back? The anticipated epic(s) translated into Chinese?". When I was checking their Facebook earlier, they also mentioned the games would be on the PC (I didn't get time to read anything else). I'm currently in the middle of playing Sora SC in Chinese, so I'm ecstatic to hear that Zero has been picked up. I've already got Ys 7 in English, but it might also be interesting to see Ys 7 on PC, although I wonder if it's just running on an emulator or something.

I finally worked out how to do it. The save transfer does seem to be exactly the same as the Japanese version, however the manual is really vague about how to do it and I ended up misreading it in various ways.
The main problem, I believe, was caused by running the game on Windows 7. For some reason, SC's saves are stored at
C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Falcom\ED_SORA2
But the game reads FC's saves from
C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Roaming\Falcom\ED6
instead (I had to look up on the internet to create the Falcom\ED6 directory there). Which I guess makes sense if you think about it :S

I finally finished all my work today, so I thought to start playing Sora no Kiseki SC.
However, for some reason, I can't quite figure out how to transfer the save data from FC. This is for the PC version by the way (and the Traditional Chinese version if it matters).
From what I can tell, I need to copy the contents of the "ED6" folder, containing the FC saves to the "ED_SORA2" folder, containing the SC saves. However I don't understand what they're really asking for.
What I've done is find my way to the folders where the save data is located:
FC:
C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\ED6
SC:
C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Falcom\ED_SORA2
(I'm using Windows 7)
I've tried copying...
1. the contents of ...ED6\save to ...ED_SORA2\save 2. ...ED6\ to ...ED_SORA2\ 3. ...ED6\ to ...ED_SORA2\save
Nothing is working so far, I don't see any option to load save data when I try pressing Start on the title screen (and I've definitely beaten FC) : (

Sort of similar to what cronorei said, if you like any of the Ys stories, I can't think of any reason you won't like Gurumin's.
Although I am a bit puzzled by your preferences, since Gurumin and most of the Ys games aren't really good story RPGs, but the great gameplay more than makes up for it (now, this part might just be me being biased).

I haven't really paid attention to the reprinted wallpapers much, but do wallpapers 1001 to 1006 even exist? I thought reprints started with 1007, which was the Gurumin wallpaper.
Any ideas what 1011 and 1013 were? I'm afraid I don't have those either : /
BTW, I love the Winter Zero no Kiseki wallpaper. Although for wallpapers like these, it makes it hard to see my desktop icons because of all the vivid colours. Oh well, time to get Photoshop out...

The prices do seem a bit steep, but I think it's hard to buy those three games (the PC versions) otherwise, since they're a bit old now. I am tempted to finally buy Felghana...
BTW, if you don't mind the text being in Chinese, Sora no Kiseki FC (with battle voices added, this is the Vista version right?) and Zwei II Plus are being sold at a fairly bargain price.

I haven't got Ys Origin, but this situation sounds familiar to me.
Are you playing the Chinese version of Ys Origin? If so, you probably need to unregister the game from the first PC before trying to play it on your second PC.
I don't think they let you play the game from multiple PCs at the same time (which can be annoying, in my case; I can't play Zwei 2 because the PC it's installed on is pretty much dead).
If not, just ignore this post ^^

Is there a site that shows which artworks are in the calendar?
Or can you give us a hint as to which ones are included? ^^;;;

I didn't think about checking the messages for the previous wallpapers. Was there anything special about the previous choice of Ys 6, Gurumin and Tita wallpapers?

Not quite sure what to say. I thought I missed out on the opportunity, since I was busy checking out some sites, but it looks like I was quick enough ^^;;;
Thanks for the giveaway. I kind of wanted to buy the Ys SEVEN LE, but I couldn't find any good stores that would ship to the UK.
